I would not recommend coming to this place. I had a really disappointing experience when I stopped for lunch with coworkers a couple weeks ago. The staff were speaking in arabic about customers in a rude and mocking way, assuming no one could understand, but I did. It was uncomfortable and disrespectful. Why would you speak so poorly about paying customers? The woman was especially snarky. And the food was just as bad. The soup tasted like it came straight from a bag and I’m pretty sure it is, the sandwiches were soggy and you’re better off going to Jimmy John’s or Subway, and the salads were tiny and lacked freshness. And the gyros are the worst I’ve ever had and dripping in grease. Our entire group was unsatisfied with our food. Everything was overpriced for the quality. Nothing tasted fresh or worth the cost. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this visit felt disrespectful on multiple levels.

Very nice and quaint sandwich shop in the Skyway in Minneapolis! Super delicious and scrumptiously fresh ingredients make this one of my new favorite restaurants! The Cuban was hot and savory, with piled high pork and ham, it’d be hard to beat!

This IS the #1 sandwich shop in the twin cities! I care about my sandwiches and I appreciate quality sandwich craftsmanship. That being said, I’m never let down when I go here for lunch. They have an excellent selection of sandwiches and no matter which one you pick you’ll be impressed every time. My personal favorite is the Ruben but they’re all so good it’s hard to decide sometimes. Quality ingredients and great service makes this place the best. And the prices are unbeatable! I can buy a full sized high quality sandwich for under 8 dollars. You can’t beat that!
I also love their Gyro!

After working downtown over a year, I am getting sick of the chain sandwich shops. Simple sandwich is just that, simple and very delicious. Everything is made fresh and you can tell. On top of great food, extremely friendly staff and a clean dining room, they have amazing prices. If you can get a full “combo meal” under $13 downtown in 2023, that deserves 5 stars. Can wait to try a salad or breakfast! This will be a weekly lunch spot for me…they should institute a punch card!

Perfect for lunch, this has got to be the best sandwich shop in the skyway. They have hot and cold sandwiches, soups and wraps, and breakfast options as well. Reuben was spot on – significantly better than the overpriced versions from a truck. Highly recommended.

Just like it says, a simple sandwich and soup. The staff was very friendly and wait time shirt at lunch on a Thursday. I had a custom grilled cheese with tomatoes, bacon, Swiss cheese and a cup of chicken wild rice soup. Good stuff.

Great Reuben. Friendly staff.

Sort of hard to find from the street level, you have to go inside at entrance near the map marker (which looks like it’s another restaurant), and up the stairs on your left. But worth it!

I am very impressed! They have sandwiches simple as PBJ and up to hot sandwiches such as Rubans and Cubans. They are amazing and be sure to accompany it with their soups. I personally love the wild rice but the loaded potato is a close second! The staff are very friendly, fast, and excellent at their craft. I tried this place yesterday for lunch and today no doubt I came back again. Highly recommend!
