Children lunch menu was very nice for the price.
We arrived just before the end of lunchtime, but were warmly welcomed.
Lake Biwa can be seen from almost every seat.
The course lunch was served with pleasant service and excellent speed, making for a very elegant experience.
The lunch set and à la carte options were about the same price, so we opted for the lunch set.
For the main course, we chose the sautéed swordfish (today’s fish) and the breaded chicken from the five options available.
The salad dressing was delicious, the soup was a cold potage with consommé jelly, and the main courses each had different sauces (naturally, since it was chicken and fish), and the portions were just right.
For dessert, we had ice cream, chiffon cake, and almond tofu, and we ordered iced coffee and tea.
It was a rather elegant lunch.
Thank you for the delicious meal!
I went for lunch.
They don’t take reservations, and it seems like it’s a first-come, first-served system.
The cafe opens at 10am, and lunch starts at 11am.
I visited during the May Golden Week holidays, but it wasn’t so full that I couldn’t find a seat, and there was plenty of room.
The service was attentive, but a bit bureaucratic.
Since I was alone, I chose an outdoor seating area, but the wind was strong, so it may have been a bit of a mistake, but the view of Lake Biwa was great, so I guess it was worth it.
The lunch menu also offered a choice of 2500 yen or 3100 yen.
I chose the 2500 yen option.
The sauce that came with the chicken was delicious.
However, the potatoes on the side were too much for my tummy.
Men might be more satisfied.
I was stuffed with salad, soup, bread, main course, dessert, and coffee.
For 2500 yen, it was a reasonable price, so I wouldn’t say I’d want to come back for it again, but I felt one visit was enough.
Paid parking was free for three hours.
That was good.
Rather than being a formal, set-course restaurant where you need to make a reservation, I think it’s more suited to people who want to relax and eat in casual clothes on the weekend.
The main menu changes with the seasons.
I can admit that the service can be a bit shaky at times, but the prices aren’t too high so I’m happy with it.
I wouldn’t say the taste is outstanding, but it’s good.
I think the food is well-prepared for the price. I like the taste so I hope they don’t change it. I like the little details, like the different types of whipped cream for dessert and the chocolate sauce underneath the ice cream.
I hope they stay in business for a long time. I hope it stays a hidden gem that doesn’t get too crowded.
I was staying at Lake Biwa Hotel, so I made a reservation for lunch to see the old Lake Biwa Hotel. I could hear the staff chattering in the back yard very clearly.
I was lucky to come across the Michigan taking off and landing at the right time. It might be a good idea to stop by on your way to Omi Shrine.
The food is a little pricey, but the quiet and relaxing atmosphere is appreciated. You’ll have Lake Biwa all to yourself.
Dinner reservations are required. Perhaps because we visited on a holiday, we were able to enter without a reservation, but we were asked to choose one of two courses.
Both the sirloin steak and roast beef were delicious and not too fatty.
While Nagisa Park is often crowded, this spot is quiet and relaxing. People range from leisurely strolls to fishing to just daydreaming.
This restaurant is especially great for those with dogs. The staff are friendly, even greeting pets. However, please note that there are no dog-specific services.
There is paid parking nearby. I think we got three hours of free parking if you use the restaurant.
Thank you for the meal.
Courses are reasonably priced at 2,500 to 3,300 yen, and all seats have views of Lake Biwa.
As it is a popular restaurant, you will often have to wait if you don’t have a reservation.
