Small authentic Hawaiian restaurant that serves the best comfort Hawaiian food. I was pleasantly surprised with their spam musubi and udon stir fry noodles. The Kalua Pork Tots were so good – Crispy tots with tender pork. The Loco Moco was good as well but the gravy is what sets it apart from others!
A tad salty but overall good food at reasonable prices. The service was also great! Everyone was friendly and kind. It’s on the smaller side and seats maybe around 20 and some seats at the bar but it’s worth it.

Decided to try this restaurant after a stellar review on “Check, Please!”, and it did not disappoint.
The location is great, with a view of the water and ample parking across the street in case their parking lot is full (which it most likely will be, based on our visit at 11:45 on a Tuesday).
We shared the Krispy Kalua Tots, which were covered with Kalua pork, shredded mozzarella , green onions, and drizzled with sauce. My daughter had spam katsu, with a requisite crispy panko outer coating – it came with a tangy soy dipping sauce. My wife ordered Kalua Pork sliders, and she surprised me by polishing off all three. Normally, she can only eat just so much Kalua Pork before becoming overwhelmed by the smoke flavor. She gave me a bite, and the subtlety of the smokiness and flavor made it perfectly onolicious. I had Portuguese sausage and eggs, because the sausage “comes from Hawai’i”, so why not! The sausage had the right amount of kick, the eggs were done perfectly (I added some Sriracha sauce), the rice was moist, and the macaroni salad was a hit. My wife dislikes the macaroni salad at your typical Hawaiian food joint because it’s frequently swimming in mayonnaise and the noodles turn to mush. The restraint here was evident: it allowed the flavors to come through, and the al-dente mouthfeel of the pasta conveyed a “freshly prepared” vibe.
This place is da grindz!

Had a late lunch today at this place with my daughter and hubby. Got to meet the owner Mike and had a long chat. Very nice guy and down to earth. Food was superb. Got to try other dishes next time. We got free samples of the Kalua Pork, BBQ chicken and then other special for the day. Thank you again to the owner. We will definitely recommend this place. Love the water view as well.

We saw this restaurant when they were on 1st St, but when we got around to give it a try, they weren’t there anymore. Needless to say, we were pretty bummed. But then, I saw them when we went to the 9th St. park, and was pleasantly surprised to find that they only moved! It’s such a great location with spectacular views, without the “spectacular” price, unlike other establishments that are expensive because you’re really just paying for a water view. There was ample parking when we went, which was the tail end of lunch. We were greeted immediately and waited only a short moment while they bussed a table for us. When we sat down, I realized how small a place this really was. They only had 12 small tables that seat 2 people. If you have a larger party, then they just put tables together. So, if you go during prime time, I imagine you would have to wait a little longer. Our food came out in a timely manner and it did not disappoint. I loved how it was seasoned nicely and not overdone. Hawaiian food typically is salty for me, but this was quite tolerable for me. It was hot and delicious. Service was great and staff were very friendly. The establishment was clean, organized, and pleasantly decorated with a Hawaiian theme. We look forward to going again. I suggest that you stop by and enjoy a Hawaiian meal with a great view of the water.

A hidden Hawaiian gem located here in Benicia. Wow, your taste buds will get your mouth watering. Parking available with a nice view of the Carquinez Bridge and Carquinez Strait of boats passing through. Service knows the answer to your question, menu shows history. I enjoyed their mac salad and hamburger steak with gravy. I thought the hamburger steak portion was small but it was very filling. I would definitely come back.

First tine being here. It was worth the drive from Santa Rosa. I ordered the Pork Dumplings and Spicy Chicken Plate. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the spice was perfect. Will definitely come back again to try the other items they have. Perfect time to be here is during sunset. You will get the best view of the bay. The vibes of the establishment is super chill.

Took my 2.5 year old granddaughter to lunch. We shared the plate with BBQ chicken, SPAM, and Portuguese sausage. Came with rice, cabbage, and macaroni salad. It was tasty and a very generous portion. The staff brought an extra plate, utensils, and a water in a plastic cup without being asked.
