Good food, no frills, exactly what you want out of a diner. It’s very cute in there but it’s small so it’s a little cramped. Really good value for what we got and our server was fun. Half their staff was at a festival in town so she was very busy but she still took care of us and made us laugh every time we talked. They were even giving away T-shirts, so you can’t beat that! Great breakfast or lunch spot to get something and go. Their corned beef hash was unique, it was really just chopped corned beef and breakfast potatoes, and even though that wasn’t what I was expecting it was still good. I’d definitely go back

We went in for breakfast and were immediately enthusiastically greeted. We both had the Eggs Benedict (that came with a side of home fries) and were not disappointed. The hollandaise was perfect, not too much lemon. The whole meal was delicious. The waitress was extremely friendly and chatted us up often. All-in-all it was an excellent meal and experience. M and J’s Taste of Home Diner in Adams is an absolute gem! We were greeted warmly the moment we walked in, and the cozy, charming interior made us feel right at home. Great little diner in Adams. The omelettes are terrific and so were the Eggs Florentine. They have lots of options. Service is fantastic too. Try to get a table in front or sit at the counter. This is the best breakfast spot in the region IMO. They name their dishes after their regular customers.

I will definitely go back and try out breakfast as lunch was just ok. The staff here was great, very kind and upbeat. Unfortunately we were asked to sit in the back room where my seat faced a mop and a freezer door and it was quite loud. I would of preferred to sit by window in main diner area as it was cute and nostalgic looking. The host was very polite in asking us to move as a large party had called ….. it is not a make reservation place, but we understood.
The French fries were the best thing on my plate but most diners can serve good fries. The slaw did not taste home made what so ever and the Mac n cheese was sour. I will definitely give breakfast a try.

A lovely little gem in the heart of Adams!
Clean, well-maintained, and full of charm. We were pleasantly surprised by our meals— I had the brisket benedict (absolutely incredible!) and my husband got the pulled pork sandwich, which he really enjoyed.
There was a small mix-up with my order, as I had asked for the eggs not to be runny, but the owner came out personally to apologize with such genuine kindness. She even gave me cupcakes to-go just to make up for the mistake— such a thoughtful gesture!
The brisket was hands-down the best I’ve had for breakfast, and I’ll definitely be coming back just for that. The staff were awesome and the service was top-notch.
Highly recommend trying out their specials— you won’t be disappointed!

I had tried just about every bakery in and around my area was just about ready to give up UNTIL I found M & J’s. Not only is everything delicious the cakes and desserts are amazing. Very talented and always so eager to accommodate orders. Jeanne is always excited to take on my crazy cake ideas and has always knocked them out of the park. The decorated sugar cookies the best around. We can’t wait to start going to their Diner! We have no doubt it will be excellent. Nothing but 5 stars from us ! I have added just a few of the talented cakes I have ordered!
