I had chicken hibachi and it was super good. I am usually a “123 Cafe” girl when it comes to the chicken hibachi but I got better vegetables, a bigger serving and soup/salad for around the same price. Highly recommend!

I never rate restaurants, but I also have never been treated so poorly by a waitress. I asked for sauce twice, the 2nd time she told us she was busy (there were maybe 3 tables being waited on between her and the manager.) She did not bring chopsticks with my sushi. Never asked if we needed anything, etc. Completely confused about what I did to offend her. I asked to speak with the manager, who did nothing about it. I asked for corporate number, manager refused to give it. I have been to this place a few times before but have never experienced this issue here, or any where else for this matter. I will not be returning and will warn everyone I know to avoid it. Pathetic.

The best sushi in town just got remodeled. They now have a host to seat you, menus in leather, brand new decor. New items.
My only disappointment is they removed the flavored teas. No more passion fruit tea with mango bolba…so sad.

Well visiting Pikeville stopped in and had an excellent dinner.
Clear vegetable soup and I ordered a salmon poke bowl and my husband ordered shrimp fried rice with an egg roll.
My only concern is the waitress did not speak English and had a hard time answering our questions.

Great food, incredibly friendly and fast service, booth seating, and multiple menu options. They didn’t have sushi available when we went, which is the only reason it’s not a full 5 stars! The bento and hibachi we had were both awesome.

Takaya Japanese steak house has boba tea very tasty and delicious sushi , hibachi gills all are my favorite food and drink, love this place so much , I would recommend that you should go there and tryout , very nice and friendly people

Was on a trip to Pikeville so I researched a different place to eat. Ordered the Vegetable Yaki Soba and Vegetable Fried Rice. Couldn’t finish all of it so I refrigerated and remicrowaved it somewhere later at night. Still tasted exactly how I ordered it.

The value for the food is pretty good. The sushi rice is well done and the menu is pretty wide. The miso soup is solid. The eel hand roll is well worth trying. The gyoza, or fried dumplings, are fantastic. My favorite item on the menu so far.
