Calles de México Taco Shop is a great spot with a convenient location, good prices, and generous portions. The service was friendly and efficient. I ordered the torta cubana, which was big, filling, and very tasty—and it comes with fries. I also tried the menudo; it had great flavor and a good portion. I personally would’ve liked it a bit spicier, but the handmade tortillas were a big plus. I had a horchata with my meal, and it was refreshing and delicious. Overall, great food and good value. I’d definitely come back.

Issac came out shortly after to let me know the drink would be right out and so I took the opportunity to ask him some questions about the menu. He was explanatory and knowledgeable about the differences in the meats and tortillas on both plates I was inquiring about. I decided on suadero, and it was incredibly delicious! I had both the frozen peach margarita, and the strawberry margarita-both were very tasty! The chips are very “corn flavored” like El Fenix (Think Fritos). They are thick and ” dip worthy”. The salsa had a kick, but wasn’t too hot. I will definitely be recommending this place to all my capadres, even though we all live in Allen. Definitely the real deal Mexican food type tacos, which is hard to find other than on a food truck!

Glad to have an authentic Mexican spot in the area. The tacos were fresh and full of flavor, and the salsas really elevated them. The pink one brings the heat. I also tried the chilaquiles, which were delicious, though I would have preferred the egg over easy. The place has a nice vibe, and I’m looking forward to dining in next time.

We ordered chicken and beef fajita’s and they were fabulous! We’re always looking for places that have both good queso and salsa, and this place did just that.
Margarita and Isai assisted us and they were both great! They were very attentive and Isai makes an amazing margarita.

My wife and I drive past this restaurant daily and finally decided to have visit for this week’s lunch date. I can’t believe it’s taken us this long to try this diamond in the rough. The restaurant was clean and very inviting. The waitress, Margarita was awesome! She was very courteous and made us feel as if we were visiting her home for the first time. The menu was smaller than all of the local Tex Mex restaurants but if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food in Frisco, you have to try this place. We got the beef puff tacos and the steak burrito deep which was CRAZY GOOD ! You have to ask for the red sauce in a squeeze bottle. It was delicious. We live local and will make this our new spot for a quick meal and/or drink. Thank you Margarita for your excellent service!

Have been here a couple different times. Not sure if it’s a language barrier but I knew eventually it would catch up. I ordered 2 pastor tacos, with 3 beef fajita. They bring me out 3 ground beef…. I said something to the waiter and he basically said it’s my fault. Coming from a business that’s all about service. I dont agree with this decision on a mistake like this especially over something cheap as food.

The Menudo taste different from the location off 121 in Lewisville. Also, they Advertise, serve, and charge you for a 16 ounce beer but they put it in a 12 ounce glass. I pointed it out to the bartender and even did a ounce comparison test with both glasses for her. Her response was “well this is the glass they always tell us to put in it” I paid my tab and left. Will not be returning because the situation was not rectified. (Love the Lewisville location)
