Upon walking in, I was excited since I saw good reviews. I waited almost 5 minutes for my order to be taken, and then I waited for an additional 30 minutes for the guy to mess up my order. When I asked for a refund, he didn’t give me the tax for my order. Highly upset and disappointed

I’m not Haitian and never been to Haiti, but wanted to try Haitian food, especially since Indianapolis has a large and growing Haitian population. Went here for lunch with a few coworkers and it seemed there was a slight language barrier between us and the person working the counter (English likely wasn’t their native language so I’m not upset by this), but we managed to order what we wanted. It took a while for the food, but it was fresh so I’m not complaining. I had the chicken with rice & beans. The chicken was PHENOMENAL, but the rice & beans were pretty average. I ended up adding the juice from my chicken to the rice & beans and it was much more enjoyable. If this restaurant is an example of what Haitian food is then I can confidently say I enjoy Haitian food and will l be back here in the future.
Atmosphere was simple and basic, but when the food is good you don’t need to be extravagant. There didn’t seem to be any A/C in the dining area, though. This may be a cultural thing but for someone accustomed to A/C it was a little rough.

This restaurant does not serve fresh food. For the amount they charge, it should be somewhat decent. Nothing of what I got was good. My fried Turkey tasted nasty and had a weird smell to it. Rice has no flavor. They will never spend my money here again.

The chicken and rice was delicious. The chicken pate was terrible. I was so excited to get pate but then I didn’t know if it was pate kode, or pate from the oven. It had the boil egg in it but where is the rest of the filling. It was chicken and egg and no seasoning. Told my husband he can have mine. He was disappointed too. Please improve the pate.
