VERY Small but the people and employees are Awesome!! They have a great choice of music on the machine but they also pay and play it for their customers too. I loved playing darts and meeting a couple new really Sweet People. Did I tell you it’s a SMALL Place?.. Just so you know! But, you will have fun. They have beer, drafts and liquor drinks. If not busy then its fine for wheelchairs. Otherwise I recommend going elsewhere. I went 2 nights in a row, during Santa Caligon Days. Had a Blast.

Its a great place with good people. Fantastic bartenders!! Its disappointing that a developmentally disabled person can be too imposing and begs for anything they can and throws a temper tantrum when told no. Nothing to do but leave and try again later.

5☆’s If Big John’s son would put permanent seating for the 5 regulars in the floor to ceiling picture window, to make room for visitors, LOL. 5☆’s for aesthetic decor; under rail lighting, saloon style swing doors, wheel barrel bath sink, 2 TV’s for sports fans, phone app accessibility to the jukebox so you don’t have to leave your bar stool, phone outlets at every seat to charge your phone, chips & popcorn available or Square Pizza across the street. Big John’s Corner Bar is one of the most asthetically pleasing of all the bars in Independence. A do-drop-in must stop!!
