Food was good , hot plate lunch 1 meat 2 sides, nothing special. Buss your own table no wait staff. Its 1/2 bar 1/2 greasy spoon dinner. Not worth the $12+ price tag.

I drive past this place everyday, decided to try it out today. I ordered Salisbury steak and mashed potatoes and green beans. My son ordered chicken tenders and fries. Everything was delicious, right down to the sweet tea!!! If I could go back for seconds I sure would!!! I’ll definitely become a regular customer!!! Call ahead and pick up your order in 10 minutes, great for lunch breaks!!!

First visit to this place, it has dive bar appeal in the middle of an industrial area. There is a railroad track few feet away and it is active.
You will be greeted by Pam (I think she owns the place) and Lanter (the cook). The food is similar to soul food.
It is a low key key, no frills place where the regulars come on daily basis and you get a snippet or 2 of their personal stories . Do not expect bright lights, it is bright enough.
I ordered the obvious choice, pork chop and my 2 sides were green beans and fried potatoes with skin. The pork chop was was not that juicy but still tasted good, both the side items were made very well. Other side items were mac n cheese, cabbage, mash potatoes and gravy. There were couple of others but I cannot remember them. You will also be offered choice of white or wheat bread, 2 slices and butter/margarine.
They have a bar, the drink choices seem limited. I just ordered water, they did not have a lemon.
It is definitely worth the try. It is not your fancy restaurant. It has its own unique vibe and oddly comforting

Great place awesome food. the atmosphere was so kind and friendly almost like walking In to a friends house. I had the cheese burger and mac and cheese. It was really good.

Couldn’t decide if this place was trying to be a bar or a resturant…kinda failed at both. They close at 5pm so not a bar ….but terrible excuse for a resturant…. they did however have several very nice bourbon choices….for those interested in drinking before 5pm.
