Loved trying everything in the Korean table d’hote! Most people come here for kbbq but this option is still enjoyable, a more relaxing vibe, and a fun way to sample many different amazing dishes including squid, braised kalbi, fish, vegetables, sundubu, and stone pot rice. it’s a great value and more than enough for 2 people! Everything was cooked perfectly but my favorite was the sundubu! The Hawaii Kai location has lots of parking and a spacious, clean interior. Definitely want to come back and try the lunch specials 🙂

Hangang is hands down my favorite KBBQ spot, and I took my boyfriend here for his birthday because of how much I love it. We ordered the prix fixe course at seventy seven dollars per person and it was absolutely worth it. The portions were generous, every dish was delicious, and we both left feeling full and happy.
Our server, Justin, was amazing. He was friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel really special. The food came out perfectly timed, and the quality was top notch as always.
The only downside was what happened at the very end. After we finished eating, they brought out our Dole Whip and the check. While we were still enjoying our dessert, one of the staff members came by, looked at the table to see if we had put our card down yet, sighed loudly, shook her head, and walked away. It left a sour note on what had been a wonderful night, especially since it was a birthday dinner.
Overall, we still had a great experience thanks to the fantastic food and Justin’s excellent service. I hope management addresses that small issue because Hangang truly is an amazing place and I want every visit to end as well as it begins.

Just had an incredible meal at Hang Gang next to King’s New Valley and I’m blown away!
I ordered the beef bibimbap and it was absolutely delicious – packed with fresh vegetables, tender meat, and came with a perfect side of rice and seaweed soup, plus all the traditional Korean appetizers (banchan). My only tiny critique is that it could have used just a touch more salt and pepper, but honestly, the flavors were still amazing.
My dining companions got the lunch special with short ribs and soft tofu soup, and they couldn’t stop raving about it. They said the short ribs were literally the best they’ve ever had on the island – and the fried rice with squash and beans was phenomenal. You can really taste the quality and freshness in every ingredient.
The portions are generous, the ingredients are top-notch, and everything feels made with care. There’s something special about a place where the food is prepared with such skill and attention to detail.
Definitely coming back soon! This place deserves way more recognition.

The prix fixe menu was absolutely worth it! The meat quality was excellent—tender and flavorful. The sides were just as impressive and complemented the main dishes so well. Great value for the quality and portions—definitely recommend!

We visited here, Hangang Korean restaurant in Hawaii Kai, twice in one week already. Food was amazing and service, restaurant itself were very great ☺️.
We had 매운갈비탕, Spicy galbi soup, and 짜장면 콤보, jajangmyen combo, with bunch of 반찬 which were all delicious .
Since we live close by, this is our go to Korean restaurant.

The lunch specials were delicious, generous portions and loved the wide selection of banchan. We had the Bibimbap in Hot Stone Bowl (love the crispy rice) and the Arrowroot cold noodle combo wih Bulgogi. The cold noodes were perfectly cooked and refreshing on a summer day. I like the new location is spacious and the booths provide privacy, less noisy and easier to have a conversation. Service was top notch, attentive and professional.
