We picked up a 4-pack of DeBrand chocolate truffles as a gift, comprised of milk chocolate caramel, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and chocolate raspberry. Really not impressed. I have a deep love for cheesecake and often seek out cheesecake specifically when in new areas. This place really caught my eye with their focus on cheesecake, and their elegant design and at 16$ a slice, I expected a high level experience.
The cheesecake tasted old, spongy and doughy.

After reading the reviews and seeing how many people have had a great experience, I can only assume I came on a bad day.

Wow. Hands down, best cheesecake I’ve ever had. And I’m a picky cheese cake connoisseur. Keep your Juniors cheesecake, NYC, Bar Harbor Cheesecake is pure perfection. Was treated to two birthday treats and bought two more. Turtle cheesecake, Banana Fosters Cheesecake, Coconut Cream Cheesecake, and Tiramisu Cheesecake. Every one of them was delicious and the flavor was out of this world. The consistency, flavors, texture- all of it… perfect. Can’t wait to visit the St. Augustine location!

Easily the best cheesecake I have ever eaten! I don’t normally go for cheesecake, but while visiting Venice with a group of friends, they were hellbent on getting a cheesecake here after visiting the location in Bar Harbor last year. I had originally intended to try the chocolate truffles, but became enticed by the cheesecake. First of all, you walk in the shop and the vibes are amazing. When we visited, it was decorated for Christmas and felt so cozy, while also being elegant. The woman working there was so friendly and inviting, it just created such a pleasant atmosphere. There were so many amazing flavors to choose from and the presentation was gorgeous: I ended up getting the brown butter pecan cheesecake. Delicious and so so creamy! The cheesecakes are pricey, but they are big, definitely big enough for two people to share. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately the plain NY cheesecake AND chocolate royal cheesecake were not even average cheesecake i ate literally 1 bite of each. The cheesecake at publix is better. And it is premium priced.l Hopefully the owner works on finding an AMAZING recipe. Will not be back nor would I recommend.

I recently had the Blueberry Lemon Cheesecake from this local shop, and holy cow, it was like if a lemon tree and a blueberry bush had a love child, and that child was raised by cream cheese. The crust? Don’t get me started; it’s like the Goldilocks of crusts – not too crunchy, not too soft, but just right for the cheesecake fairy tale. The lemon zing in there is so fresh, I half-expected to see a tiny lemon grove on top. And the blueberries? They’re like little flavor bombs, making every bite an adventure. If you don’t try this, you’re basically turning down an invite to flavor town. Go, taste the magic, before they run out or, worse, the cheesecake decides to run for mayor!

We didn’t find this place by accident, our original stop was their Bar Harbor location. Visiting many times throughout the years. (This location has closed) Then we learned they had a place in St. Augustine, where of course we stopped traveling through Fl. I surprised my husband with a trip to Venice Beach location! He got the apple crumb and I opted for the pumpkin white chocolate…. Delicious! Expensive, yes of course it’s a speciality shop. You can definitely share and it’s no more than a slice from any restaurant but better

You have to stop here. The store is gorgeous. Owners are delightful but the cheesecake is out of this world!!! The savory cheesecakes are like nothing you have seen before. They even have holiday and seasonal flavors. Perfect for gift giving and host gifts. I’m drooling writing this.
