Upon arriving it does look closed if your not familiar with the area which is why I missed it a couple times. When I drove up I happened to notice Mr Dunbar outside. He was very friendly and patient. I was able to sample some Meats and sauce before I purchased. I enjoyed the food the presentation was good. I ordered 4 meats with 2 sides at the drive up window. The food was well portioned and the sauce was good. At the time of the visit there was 2 desserts from ” The Sweet Spot”(local Bakery ) absolutely delicious.I had lemon cake and birthday cake . I recommend if you have a taste for soulfood.

Excellent home style BBQ. The Turkey tips are excellent with hot bbq sauce. Don’t forget the mac and cheese. Recent: Been some time since I Been to Dunbar for some turkey tips and was very good for sure. Could have used a little more smoke but very good non the less. The tips are covered in a hot sauce which does have a kick to it so if you like it more mello try their sweet or mild sauce, or a combo of.

The ribs were burnt, tasted old, and there was bones with NO MEAT on them. I also asked for mild sauce (on the side) didn’t get that. Was given dressing (very DRY( had pieces of chicken ( had small bones) . It’s a serious change from my first visit and needless to say: I won’t be back I gave away $19.44

If we talking about the food I got this man representing the 260 in a major way and its been just like that since I done business with this man before you get to Hussain castle on Oxford way back when they was all pitmaster and I been down ever since . Food was cold, corn bread was hard and cold ribs were vinegar-y, fish was not cooked the whole way through!! I see a lot of high reviews, please come to NAP town for barbecue, you would be putting a 1, one here!!! The gentleman are very nice, but doesn’t make up for the poor food!! Sorry not sorry!!

I got a large rib tip for $15 food was real good lil bit extra on the vinegar but it was good 1st time trying the food he even let me taste it before I got it the turkey tip was bomb most definitely will go again soon even got the number for hair stylist. Mr Dunbar definitely gets my business
