The WORST hamburger we ever ate at a sit-down restaurant. We asked for medium and received hockey-pucks that were drowned in condiments. Patties were definitely from frozen meat that had smelling odor. French fries were so well done, they were crispy chips. Spent $42 for 2 burgers and 1 sparkling water. Left the place with just few bites. Since I was with my wife, we did not make a scene. If I was there alone, I would have sent the burgers back and left the place.

Excellent family run restaurant! The pancakes were fluffy and full of blueberries. Flavorful! The Taylor Ham, egg and cheese on a round roll was perfect. Excellent coffee. All in all excellent. We will be back to try the French Toast for sure. But 5 stars for sure!

We are in the area for the Spartan Race at mt. Vernon and I did my research, and we decided to stop by here over all the other places closer to where we were staying. Absolutely loved everything. Food was amazing. The customer service was so inviting and personable. We’ll be back before we leave for the weekend! I’m very picky and honest, so you can’t go wrong here.

Cozy spot with great homestyle cooking. Went for sit down brunch and had a great meal with fresh coffee. Owners were very polite and accommodating. Highly recommend for solo or small groups.

My friend and I stopped in for brunch and had a great time. Parking was easy, the restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, the price is great and the food was delicious!! their pancakes were huge too, great taste. We will be going back and recommend it to others looking for great food at a good price ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were surprised to find this place on a regular route we take after reading good reviews. The reviews were all very correct. We had great pancakes and fantastic French toast with REAL maple syrup too. Great service and the chef made everything perfectly.

I was in the area and got pretty hungry so I pretty much stumbled on this spot. Came in and was welcomed with open arms. I didn’t know what to get so Barry recommend I try the Turkey Ruben sandwich with house made coleslaw. It was a great thing I took his advice because I was not disappointed. Honestly, the best Ruben Sandwich I’ve ever had. There was a really nice lady there as well but I forgot to get her name. She was a sweetheart. I honestly can’t say enough great things about my experience here. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I frequent the area often so I’ll definitely be back. If you’re ever in the area, please stop by and give this place a try. You will not be disappointed. Thanks again Barry. See you soon!

Stopped by a few days ago for the first time. Was immediately greeted with kind employees and began having a conversation. I opted got get 2 Taylor ham egg and cheeses and they had to have been the best breakfast sandwiches I had had in a very long time. I got to sample the French toast which was also delicious. I will definitely be returning and suggesting this place to friends in the area. Hopefully the quality stays as good as it was for me the first time. Keep it up

I think my favorite part of this place was its history and the decor. It was super charming and full of antiques. The building is from the 19th century, I believe. The French toast wasn’t great, although it was apparently supposed to be really good. I wish there was more room to sit. They didn’t have as many of the teas as advertised. Sometimes, the service was good and sometimes, not as great. Would still go back and try the bakery items. They looked really good. The people who waited on us looked overwhelmed, but seemed to be trying their best.
