We are visiting from another state and went here based on Google reviews. I know this might sound like over exaggeration, but this is like the best banh mi sandwich I have ever eaten. I live in a major metropolitan city and we don’t have a banh mi shop that offers heo quay (roasted pork). This sandwich they sell is phenomenal.
We ordered almost all the sandwiches they offer because they were offering a grand opening offer of buy 10 sandwiches get one free. We honestly loved every sandwich. It helps that they bake their own sandwich and their meats are phenomenal.
Maybe it’s a good thing I don’t live here because I would come here weekly. If you’re visiting or live here, I would highly recommend you try this banh mi sandwich shop.

A new bánh mì restaurant just opened in Mobile! I’m a big fan of bánh mì and have tried many places, and this one is very authentic. I got lucky — they had the roasted BBQ flavor when I visited, which is usually only available on weekends.
I also saw on their social media that they make their bread in-house.
I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend locals give it a try!

Sooo excited to have a banh mi shop in this area!!! We’re from Cali so we’re so used to diverse and delicious food; we especially loveee Vietnamese food. The decor is so cute. The bread is freshly baked in store and reminds us of banh mi from Vietnam. Banh mi is yummy, sugar cane drink is fresh & legittt (we got the durian one ). Plus, the service is friendly and efficient. We’ll be back!

Not sure how I found about Banh Mi Cafe. All I know is that I went in one day because I couldn’t decide where I wanted to go and I thought about this place. When I walked in I noticed how nice the inside of the restaurant was. It had the feeling of old timey diner like ones you see on old tv shows. Anyway I had no clue what to order but the person at the counter told me about the roasted pork sandwich. I was so hungry that he could’ve told me about anything and I would’ve ordered that. I did order the roasted pork sandwich and it didn’t take long to get ready.
I was on my lunch break so I took my sandwich to go. Like I said earlier I was very hungry. I bit into the sandwich and I was very pleased with it. The bread was really delicious and the pork was cooked and seasoned well.
I don’t really have any complaints with the experience. I would say because I was very hungry I wish chips or a small side came with it. But that’s on me.

I just ate the best Banh Mi I’ve ever had. Freshly baked bread, crunchy veggies, flavorful meat (Nem Noung). I will have to come back and try all the other ones. The coffee was perfectly balanced between sweet and strong too. Staff was friendly too, but I can’t stop thinking about the taste of the sandwich.

The grilled pork Banh Mi is outstanding! So flavorful and beats any others I’ve tried. You can tell the bread is baked fresh and it’s the perfect balance between crispy and chewy. Service was great, and everyone was so friendly!
Wait time was about 15 min which I was perfectly ok with since it’s their soft opening. Can’t wait to try the other sandwiches.

So delicious. They clearly bake their bread fresh. All the vegetables were delicious and fresh and the meat was well seasoned. We stopped on our way from Atlanta to New Orleans. Clean, fast service, friendly and affordable !

Banh Mi cafe is an awesome fast casual Vietnamese sandwich shop that the city has really needed. The bread itself is the best part of the banh mi, and is easily the best part of the sandwich. Their veggies and meat pairs well, but I wish there was a more protein to balance the sandwich out.
