I want to start with the service. It was ‘southern hospitality’ at it’s finest. The cashier and the cook were both extremely friendly/polite.
The food, especially the ribs, were top notch. When you think of southern BBQ, Double D’s Brickhouse BBQ set the standard. The food prices were very reasonable. The interior dining was relaxing and clean. Parking was ample and free. The wait time, even busy, was only a few minutes (less than 5).

Everything about this place is 10/10. The staff is super friendly, the food is fantastic, the restaurant is immaculate, and everything is reasonably priced. I tried the rib plate with potato salad and collards. The ribs were cooked just right. If you’re passing through Frisco City go give them a try!

What a gem! We came over from Roland Cooper State Park to have lunch and it was well worth the drive! The owners did a fabulous job restoring an old building, and it’s as clean a restaurant as I’ve ever seen. We tried ribs, chicken, pasta salad, fries and baked beans. We enjoyed every bite! Go! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Everything we had was seasoned very well. Very nice owners, they do all the cooking themselves to maintain consistency. We had pork plate with collards/mac& cheese and brisket fries. If you know…you know! My husband is from GA and he said the food and sweet tea are on point. He is one that eats to live, I on the other hand, live to eat… he even said “we will definitely be back!”

Wow! What a gem of a small restaurant! They have their recipes figured out, dialed in, and nailed down! I had the rib plate and I can say, I’ve never had better. Seasoned perfectly with a house made rub. Collard greens and potato salad I could serve to my grandmother. Well worth every penny, and not over priced. We’ll be back soon, and I can’t wait to try other things from the menu!
