This place is so good, literally the freshest sushi I’ve had in Halifax by far! The server was very nice too and the atmosphere is so cozy! I recommend this place for sure, for any occasion, out with friends, for a date, solo, literally such a good spot!

In the place of sushi cove, Mount Sushi has the same menu and pricing and interior but the owner/chef/waitress is different. They’re a very friendly younger couple. The food takes a while but is fresh and tasty. The soy sauce is… very diluted (I had to really soak my maki in it for flavor) but everything else was great, the scallop in Atlantic roll was quite generous, and the sushi lover combos were great.
Oh their bathrooms are in a hallway that’s under repair so it’s not easy to access. They tried to deter me but my kid really needed it. They apologized for the mess, so “go” at home before you come here.

We tried this restaurant for the first time today and the food did not disappoint!! Really great sushi and the chefs behind the counter were super friendly. Where I see improvement is in the temperature of the dining area, we were frozen and unfortunately made it difficult to enjoy ourselves. We could see they were very busy with takeout orders but the service for dine in was rather slow and there was a large gap in time between when the rolls arrived. We will definitely be back but likely as a takeout customer.

First time ordering from Sushi Mount and was thoroughly impressed. We had a last minute order for an event and they knocked it out of the park. They accommodated our vegetarian friends and provided so many amazing deluxe maki options. Will definitely return! ❤️

It was an unforgettable evening. I’m really glad I chose to have my New Year’s dinner at Sushi Mount. The staff were incredibly friendly, and even though they had a lot of orders, the food quality and service speed were still excellent. I love this place and will definitely come back.

Stumbled on this new sushi spot and it seriously impressed. Takoyaki was light, crispy, and not greasy at all. Firecracker Roll was massive and perfectly crispy—super satisfying. Golden dragon Roll had that buttery seared salmon that just melts in your mouth, and Volcano Roll surprised us that actually balanced everything out really nicely. Sashimi was super fresh—salmon belly and scallops were next level. Quick service, friendly staff, good vibes all around. Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely top notch place. Food is amazing, the people running it are polite and happy to be serving their customers. It’s cozy and quiet unlike some of the bigger places in Halifax/bayers which are often obnoxious with noise and kids running around. 10/10
