Fantastic food and service. Staff was knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. Food was made fresh to order and the serving size to price was unbeatable! On top of that, the food was amazing, comparable to any high-end NYC deli. This place is about an hour out of my way but I’ll keep coming back just because it was so good.

This was our first time patronizing Son’s Deli. We ordered a white broccoli Sicilian and a round cheese pizza for pick-up.
When we arrived home we found that the Sicilian had been overcooked with the crust on one side burned black. This resulted in the entire crust being hard like cardboard and a slight tinge of burnt flavor throughout the pizza. After one slice we discarded the pizza.
The cheese pizza was good with a pleasant tomato flavor complimented by slightly salty cheese.

Food was good. Had a chicken Parm sandwich which was on a Kaiser roll. Cooked perfectly and was very good. French fries were good and the beer cheese was fantastic! Smaller in size so inside seating is limited. Service was awesome and the staff was super friendly. Very reasonable priced. Will definitely be back.

Everything was outstanding. The only issues I had was with mushrooms that were out of a can. I spoke with the owner and management about this and suggested they use fresh mushrooms and raise the prices by a dollar if they needed to. They seemed open to the idea. I also strongly suggested they open for brunch on the weekends. That used to be a go-to place for me and my friends who would drive 10 mi out of our way to go to a really nice place up in the hills to have brunch. Apparently they have limited grill space and hence are not sure if they can open for breakfast but they’re thinking about it. Otherwise it’s outstanding. The manager CJ and the owner Charlie are salt of the earth types. High quality food and service. Definitely check it out

I have stopped in multiple times to grab a bite on my way back to the hills from Albany and Troy. They make “belly buster” sandwiches. The house made cookies never disappoint but the warm chocolate chips will get all over your clothes if not careful.

So far so good guys, we’ve been twice now, a little light on toppings on pizzas, but the crust is really good. And the one time we had one issue, and they IMMEDIATELY made it right. The staff is super nice, it’s clean, it’s well lit, and just overall we will keep on with you guys. Plus, so much left to try!

From the outside, this is a very unassuming place, one you might pass by without thinking, but you’d be doing yourself a serious injustice if you did! I’ve been blown away at the high quality and flavors of everything I’ve ever had from them. They offer full dinners in many varieties as well as pizza and sandwiches. I’ve never been disappointed by anything they make.

We picked up a large order. 2 orders of wings that were supposed to be garlic Parmesan, they did not have much of that taste. A chicken pesto sandwich which was over powered by pesto. The amount of pesto made the sandwich soggy. A calzone was ordered and it too was soggy. The good things were the fries, tuna sandwich, garlic knots and onion petals.

Me and my partner Bill gladly make the 35-minute drive to Son’s Deli because the food is absolutely worth the trip! Their pizza slices are delicious, their chocolate chip cookies are generously oversized, and their subs are exceptional.
