Been coming here for over 30 years. Best Italian cookies I know of. If that’s your thing, I would highly recommend! Great breads as well.

My dad and I go once a week. This is THE best pizza . This is cooked in an oven brick, no screen. I can’t describe the sauce but when we lived in Hawaii 30 years ago, there was a pizza place called Bostons Northend Bakery. We never found a pizza place since that was the same quality but the sauce, cheese, and dough are just about the same. They only make 1 size, they only do a few variations but you don’t need all those extra ingredients. We always get a cookie and drink while we enjoy a pie.

We Stopped at this place one day bc I’m always looking for a good Italian bakery.
It definitely looks great at first glance!
I went in there specifically for the Sfoigiatelle … they do have large and small as well as the lobster tail stuffed with cream, however I will say I did get a mini Sfoigatelle- definitely overpriced! and it tasted soft, stale not like the nice fresh ones I’ve had up in New Jersey or New York, where they are crisp on the outside and nice and tender in the middle.
I also bought a very expensive loaf of prosciutto bread for $9 and it was disappointing.
The bread was way too soft and I have no idea what kind of quality prosciutto they used- but again the Northeast puts this place to shame!
They had a nice selection of cookies which looked relatively stale, unfortunately.
The service was frankly a little bit irritating while I was trying to decide what I wanted to order it was as if the cashier couldn’t wait long enough!
and there was no one else in there!
In my opinion this place is far overpriced for the quality of their food and their service was not that great- they also have very little indoor seating.
I would try somewhere else even if it was further away Over this place because they just did not deliver unfortunately.

Everything is amazing!! Going to Biagio & Joey’s feels like going to your Italian relatives home! Staff is welcoming and so kind and helpful! Prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality! Usually I get the cannolis and lobster tails (the BEST!), but this time I tried the assorted cakes and the swan cream puff. WOW! Absolutely delicious!! Can’t wait to visit again!

Joey’s is an absolute gem! Everything we tried was outstanding—the bear claw was perfectly flaky and almond-y, the turnover was bursting with fruit filling, and those sesame seed cookies? Addictive! Crispy, buttery, and just the right amount of sweetness. Hands down some of the best Italian pastries I’ve had in a long time.
What also made the experience special was the incredible customer service. The young woman helping me was so kind, patient, and genuinely enthusiastic—she took the time to describe everything and even gave great recommendations. You can tell the staff here actually cares.
Can’t wait to come back—Joey’s just became our go-to bakery! Highly recommend!

Visited on 12/21. Open just two months, the pastry case was full w/ a huge variety of beautifully delicious Italian pastries– see pic. And the gelato was pure Heaven. We sampled the Biscotti — sooo good! No coffee machine has arrived (yet), but it’s coming! One of the owners was a NY baker for three decades. He has brought his talent to this sweet spot in Port Richey. His wife was incredibly friendly. There’s a bar w/ stools should you wish to eat in as well as two outside tables. We will definitely return when we’re in the area again! Too many gorgeous pastries not to try, and we noticed some delicious looking pies cooking in the kitchen area. They would be perfect for a special gathering.

I was born and raised in (Williamsburg) Brooklyn, New York. My entire family and friends always went to Fortunato Brothers, Bakery in Brooklyn, NY for their delicious pastries, cookies and cakes! Moved to Florida in 2022, I’ve been searching for the best restaurants, bakeries, etc. Heaven sent, I met a customer at my work place that was wearing “Fortunato Brothers – Bakery in Brooklyn, NY” T-Shirt!!! Blown away, I had to ask…relationship/owners??? Biagio was the pastry chef of Fortunato Brothers | Bakery in Brooklyn, NY. Small World! Biagio and his wife Gladys confirmed they plan to open up a bakery in the future. Fast-forward…They’re finally opened!!! I have been looking for an authentic Italian Bakery and my/your search is OVER! Newly opened, Biagio and Joey’s Italian Bakery. I pre-ordered a Frutti di Bosco (Mixed Berry Cake) which I could not find ANYWHEREEEEE!!!! Thank you Gladys! Thank you, Biagio for making this cake for my newly to-be son in-law. This cake had his eye’s rolling all over the place and sounds of enjoyment while he took every bite. I also order some Italian Rainbow Cookies, SOOOO good! Lobster-Tail, crispy outer layer, topped with Confectioners sugar and filled with custard was oh-soooo yummy! Last but not least, we also grabbed their freshly baked Italian bread…H-E-A-V-E-N!!! (see pictures).
In addition, just started to serve their Brick Oven Pizza and Cafe as well. I’ll be back for sure 😉
The building itself was questionable… but seems the recent Hurricane Helen had a lot to do with it.
Overall, the bakery it self is newly renovated, great variety of pastries/cookies, Bread, clean, my family and I were greeted with smiles and A+ Service! Take a drive… YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Everybody wants to talk about the cookies. I like the small amazing I don’t know what to call them cakes. They’re incredible. If any of you know how good Joey’s new York style pizza is this one comes as a surprise . This location makes pizza but it’s slightly different than at Joey’s New York style Italian restaurants , or the ones they make at the market . It’s a pizza here is slightly different they call it the rustic version and it is phenomenal . Slightly different cheese blend and generally amazing flavor and texture . It’s cooked in a slightly hotter oven and by slightly I mean 200° hotter . Try it you won’t be disappointed .

OMG this place is less than 15 minutes from me and I’m not sure if that is a good or bad thing. I basically bought one of everything. I’m making cookie trays for the holidays for friends. They had an awesome variety. I like personalizing trays but if you want to grab and go they have already assembled assortments too. There’s an entire case of cookies and another with pastries. They also serve 12” wood fire pizzas. I’ll be back to try those. The staff said they would be adding more food. It’s not really obvious from the street. Take Scenic and come up behind the stores.
