I honestly get anxiety about going to places outside of metro detroit because you never know what you’re gonna get from customer service when you actually show up and show your face. I wanted to give a local restaurant a try before heading to the resort after a long road trip to treetops. I called ahead inquiring if it was family friendly before 11. I was told kids are ok until the kitchen is closed which was at 11. We walk in at 10 no host or server to direct to tables, and the first time we’re greeted is from the server with pigtails and glasses approaching my 11yr old daughter (instead of me) about a swallow of hot cocoa she had in a cup. Then she started to tell her that she’s not 21. What? Of course she’s not she’s with her mom who called ahead to ask if it was ok that we come and get food. I didn’t try the food because that was a unsettling first experience… instead of you assisting me with a table you approach my daughter about a sip of hot cocoa and her age when she’s accompanied with an adult and tell me I don’t have to be rude? I wasn’t I was thrown off from your unwelcoming approach. The customer service was rude. From the looks of the responses from the owners they lead by example here.

Very surprised how good the food was. Basic menu with sandwiches etc. Ordered grilled chicken sandwich very fresh bun, fries were perfect.
Stromboli appetizer was awesome. First time in and will be back for sure.

Food was amazing! I had the Chicken Mac Attack and my husband had a French dip sandwich and both were great! They have a Soup of the Day but by the time we were there which was 6pm on a Friday, all they had left was Chilli. For appetizer we tried their pretzel with beer cheese. The pretzel was fluffy and soft. The cheese was ok, didn’t seem like a true beer cheese though. It had pico or some kinda salsa in it. The service was very fast for how busy the place was. Overall highly recommend Lisa’s!

Ive been coming here for months, any day of the week. The staff kills it here. The chefs are consistent. Great atmosphere. Clean. Even when the bar is packed they are hustling. One of my favorite bars to chill at and watch Lions games especially. And, the chicken bacon ranch wrap (crispy) is delish lots of pride in this establishment and it keeps us coming back!

AFricknMazing. Our group was met and served quickly by Elizabeth. Drinks just right and good timing for food order. Multiple TV’s for games. I had the the Philly Cheese Burger on Brioche bun. 2 kinds of cheeses, Philly meet plus a burger. Sauteed onions and green peppers. I loved it. 7 people in our group and raving reviews from everyone. Found this place on Google on our trip back from Mackinac Island to Oklahoma. SO GLAD we stopped! We had the large (size of a plate) pretzel and cheese as an appetizer, then a Swiss and mushroom burger and mac and cheese with chicken for our entrees. Everything was absolutely delicious. We were waited on immediately and checked on often. We will definitely be back on our next trip!
