Tapas Glastonbury

I was craving an authentic Greek salad. When I visited Greece a few years ago, I had a Greek salad every day. A traditional Greek salad consists of sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, green bell pepper, red onion, olives, and feta cheese. what I got was perhaps a more Mediterranean version. there were no cucumbers, and the tomatoes were diced, not sliced. They feta cheese was grated, not the slab that I prefer. But I understand that ethnic food is often change to adapt to American taste. The salad was a little soggy, and I really missed the cucumber slices, but the desserts and the display case look terrific. I will skip the salad next time and try some of the other entrées. Service was very pleasant and prompt. it is definitely a takeout place, but there was a couple having their salads sitting on one of the sofas. I hate parking in that spot so what I normally do when I leave is I drive down the alleyway beside it then come out on the street and then turn to go back onto Hebron Avenue.

So delicious. Greek salad with that yummy dressing. I should have ordered a regular, not small. Soup was fresh tasting. Enjoyed both 10 stars. I will follow them back to West Hartford when they relocate soon. Nobody does it better. From a fan from the 80’s! This location is teeny tiny – no dining room. Hope next Tapas is roomier.

They have amazing Salad, dressing and mad greek sauce. The chicken Giro used to be the best. Then they switch the meat from a processed thin chicken patty to regular chicken and it ruined it. Please bring back the old chicken!!!!!!

This is one of my favorites!! I most often get the chicken gyro with a Greek salad. Their salad dressing is so flavorful and delicious. I don’t know what they put in it, but it is the best. The gyro is very tasty also. The bread is soft and the mad Greek sauce ties it all together!! I am so glad that this restaurant came to Glastonbury!

Omg. This is my favorite place ever!! The first time I tried this place was the first time I ever had a gyro. I love them!! My favorite is the Roadside Gyro, it’s so good!! It always hits the spot. I love getting it with a side of fries and putting the red sauce on the gyro. It tastes heavenly. I’ve tried other gyro places but none of them compare to this place. This place just does it right. The cashiers are always so sweet too! I love this place. Please never shut down.

Thank you Tapas for catering my party! I had to accommodate gluten free guests as well as picky eaters. I also had to make an early delivery request. The staff was friendly and very easy to work with. I ordered Chicken Kebobs which came with Rice and Vegetables, a Mediterranean Platter & Baklava. The food was delicious and the portions were plentiful! Everyone really enjoyed the meal, which was wonderful. I would highly recommend for excellent food and great value.

I had the chicken shawarma with a salad. The flavor was fine but the chicken barely warm and it was very dried out. The chicken tastes like they cook it somewhere else and just heat it up. I would skip this especially for what they charge. Two sandwiches was basically $30 and they weren’t worth spending $18 in my opinion.

So delicious! First timers here!
We had the ultimate gyro, muffaletta, and my son had the burger. All were so fresh and tasted amazing! The prices are reasonable as well which is a plus. Can’t wait to go back!!!

Great experience from start to finish. I ordered ahead since I have a dairy allergy and they were very accommodating. I got the falafel bowl with tabouli instead of the rice, which was more delicious than I could’ve ever imagined. Can’t wait to come back
