The food was fresh, full of flavor, and the portions were just right.
The team was friendly, the service was quick, and the atmosphere had that laid-back island feel.
The garlic shrimp was especially good — simple, tasty, and cooked perfectly.
If you’re touring around Oahu, definitely make this a lunch stop.
Great hospitality, good food, and good vibes all around.
The shrimp were super plump and juicy, the noodles were a great addition, and they even gave orange slices on the side, which was a nice touch. The spicy flavor was amazing — honestly, it was good enough to rival Giovanni’s. I’d definitely come back again!
I felt the kimchi should have been included with the chicken plate at $21. Also, the chicken plate is only half of a chicken but tastes fine eating across the street on the beach.
We visited this iconic food truck as part of a sightseeing tour
Ordered a number 2 spicy garlic shrimp and a number 4 huli huli chicken
I don’t understand why Hawaiians serve shrimp (prawns) cooked with the shell on? The shrimp are covered in sauce and are a pain to peal – I did notice some people just eating shell and all
We’ve enjoyed shrimp truck meals on previous visits to Hawaii and prefer these meals served with corn, rice and pineapple, rather than noodles or even salad – personal choice I guess
Likewise, the chicken was messy to eat and a little tough, making the pieces even more difficult to separate
However, there were plenty of shaded picnic tables and a cool breeze blowing, making for a comfortable experience
We were looking forward to enjoying a shrimp truck lunch but left a little disappointed
Spicy Shrimp and vegetarian noodles were good. Noodles could more veggies. Spice level was good. Staff was very nice.
Huli chicken tasted OK with their family recipe sauce but was a little on the dry side.
Will go there again.
