Ordered general tso chicken, pork fried rice. Pork fried rice was dry no taste, chicken was hard and couldn’t eat, pork egg rolls had nothing in the egg rolls, vegetable lomein was hard and dry and the happy family dish had more vegetables then shrimp, beef or chicken. NEVER EVER AGAIN. 50.00 IN THE GARBAGE.

May2, 2025 I just ordered cashew chicken and egg rolls. Both were disgusting, the mystery meat was all fat did not taste like chicken only took one bite. Updated Review: Cultural differences or not, you’re rude on the phone when you actually answer and don’t hang up on people.
Also, it’s not fair your poor kids are stuck in that restaurant hour after hour, bored. I feel bad for them. I hope they are turning into far more pleasant people than you. Don’t start a business that requires customer service if you’re going to be a jerk.
The food is good, but not worth the icy, rude owners. Taking away 2 stars.
Always amazing food and fast service. Forgot an item, definitely double check your whole order is there if you order several things. Otherwise very pleased!

My favorite local spot for Chinese take-out! The food has always been consistently good! Chinese-American food has often had a heaviness to it but I find it less at China Wok Holley. I’m not sure if they cook to order but it sure does taste like it!
Some reviews mention that the woman is rude. I’ve never experienced that. I was just there a few hours ago and she was very nice. There could be a bit of a language barrier and/or customer service can be very different within other cultures so I try to be mindful about those possibilities. In America, we put much emphasis on customer service. In other countries, a server may come up to your table with “what do you want”. That really doesn’t fly here in America but I am going into a restaurant where I am aware of the cultural/language difference.
At times, I have called and it will go straight to voicemail even though according to the hours on Google they should be open. I’ve never looked at the hours in their window though to see if maybe they have changed hours. It’s a small town and I believe they have children so although I feel disappointed that I can’t order a meal, it’s not really a big deal. Other times, they are on vacation for a month or so. My advice is to call but have a backup lunch/dinner plan just in case they are not open for whatever reason.
The inside isn’t much to look at. It looks run down but doesn’t appear dirty. I’ve been ordering from them for about 8 years now and have never found anything concerning in my food (not even a stray hair).

Very very rude. Super expensive!!! I can deal with the price if the food was good but it was nothing to write home about. I just can not get over how rude the owners are. 1 thing I will say is that a lot of people leave reviews commenting on their children being in their restaurant all day long. My kids go to school with them, they live right upstairs from their restaurant, their children are HIGH HONOR ROLL students, very well behaved, very polite & respectful. They were raised right by very good parents. Even though they don’t know how to treat their American customers, that young couple are very good parents. So please let’s stop commenting on the kids and making it sound like they are neglected because I know for a fact they are NOT!

After reading the negative reviews about this particular Chinese restaurant, I could not be more moved to add insult to injury. However, I was in for a complete shock unbeknownst to me. After serving a year in the pacific region “asian cuisine” has always been a delicacy for these tastebuds. The rice is beyond amazing. I was lost at “rice” not hello. As far as ambiance and greeting I was able to air my concerns and grievances to be matched with complete kindness and answers. If you are in the market for Chinese cuisine American style look no further. Shame on the negative reviews for this establishment. They have no place here! Written by a friend for a friend.

Their food has always been good, if you can get your order in. I called, asked to place an order, there was silence and they then hung up on me. I hate saying this about a small family business, but this isn’t a one time thing anymore, they more often than not come off as irritated and unwelcoming. I hope things improve eventually, they made Holley better.
