Just wasted my time driving here. I was hoping for great food unfortunately it was not. Flavor was decent but lacked substance. Look at How dry this goat is, never in my life have I had hard and dry goat. Goat is supposed to be soft and fall off the bone. This was hard and dry. One of the pieces of Goat tasted like hell, I lost my appetite eating it. Also the curtain so you don’t see what’s going on in the kitchen is of great concern. Will not be going back.

This restaurant is popularly known as Grandma’s Kitchen.
The chefs are guys and they do an amazing job.
Jollof rice with chicken/beef, banku with tilapia, fried rice with chicken, waakye, fufu with soup etc. Rice balls and groundnut soup with fish+meat is my best bet at this restaurant.
This restaurant gives you the African feel in all the meals they serve. You can dine in or take out. The place is always kept clean.
Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who wanna have a taste of original African food.

The food was flavorful and affordable, portions were generous, and the owners/host were so helpful answering our questions! It was my first time eating fufu, paired with their pepper soup… won’t be the last! The goat was very tender. Jollof rice was also great!! We thoroughly enjoyed the homey, heart-warming meal we received.

Food is delicious and very cheaply priced.
I drove 2 hours from Albany NY because I was craving some Ghanaian food. The gentleman who took my order over the phone was very polite and food was ready when I got there. I got home and was blown away by how much food $25 got me . The food is on point!! The tilapia took me back to Ghana . I’ll definitely be going back for more. Thank You so much.

First time having resturant food from Ghana. Enjoyed spicy sauce with fish and plantine. Tasty food. Friendly staff. Great service. Definitely go back and try other dishes.

I love this place. They are always so receptive as well to peoples dietary restrictions. I am not the biggest fan of certain meats and they always make mines without it, which has been really hard to come across with most African restaurants in the area. The mother and son are always so incredibly nice the peanut soup and light soup are so good with a side of okra.

Wow. Where has this been all my life? First time trying fufu & egusi, I got it with goat. This is seriously my new favorite cuisine. Absolutely wonderful, so full of flavor and hearty. Man at the counter was attentive and polite too. Will be a customer for life
