TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Best food ever, no matter what you order, it’s always good. Moe made my day. i will definitely come back at some point. Came back again, Arad and George made my day too. made my food and smiled, i didnt know the employees punish their bosses for not greeting the customers. im very happy

Dave’s Hot Chicken is SO good! The chicken is super crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. I love that they have different spice levels so you can go from mild to crazy hot depending on your mood. The Staff(Mohammad) is Friendly and Kind. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I’m craving something tasty!

We ordered the chicken sandwich and the chicken was very flavorful. Dave’s sauce is good too kinda like honey mustard. The people who worked there were very nice. I chose the hot but it is not very hot I would try extra hot next time. The only thing is the chicken was a little too oily, it would be nice if there are more vegetable options other than just pickles.

I don’t understand the hype!
Mediocre chicken at a fast food place. Sauce is literally what adds the flavor but you have to pay for sauces!?!? Paid $125 for food and literally only received like 5 sauces (paid for 4 of them– are you kidding?!?! Plus these sauces arent even big enough) Had to beg the counter for ketchup packets and napkins (which are honestly cheap napkins and rip after minimal usage- another thing that I cant stand).
Now that they’ve been bought out by a big corporation i cant wait to see what other corners they cut.
Def will not be back to any of these branches– please take a lesson from chic fila and leave sauces on the counter– the more sauces that people use the better the flavor and the more that people will come.

After watching the commercial on Pluto TV for weeks we decided to try Dave’s Hot Chicken today. Staff member Misael was very nice and courteous. Chicken is a bit on the salty side. However, it’s very flavorful and still rather enjoyable. The sliders are perhaps their best dish.

We drove to Orange County for my daughter’s birthday and she wanted Dave’s Hot Chicken after she had tried it at a Cal State LA event. She liked the chicken so much that she wanted me to try it. Well, it was delicious! The chicken tenders are full of flavor, crispy, and it has the right amount of heat. I chose the mild, and next time I will venture to try the medium heat. Loved the atmosphere and the team was very polite. I feel that the employees enjoy working there, so they make me feel welcome.

Underwhelming experience overall.
The menu is pretty limited — mostly chicken sandwiches and tenders, without much variety. I’m not sure what all the hype is about. On top of that, you have to keep asking for extra sauces, which gets a bit annoying. Nothing really stood out for me.

Everything was amazing all around. The customer service was on point. One of the workers Kathy was on point, she checked up on us and she just was amazing. The food was great really spicy but that’s the experience we went for when we got the roulette. If I could give ten stars I would.
