I’m Confused about the size of cappuccino that came in a tiny cup like an espresso shot. I was told it comes only in one size . Maybe I don’t the etiquette of coffee sizes . I also bought a honey glazed donut , I was asked if I needed a fork which I replied yes but I’m guessing they didn’t hear me because I didn’t receive it . Complimentary water was finished too , I understand the crew was about to close the store in an hour so I picked up a spoon from across the register and Nevertheless I still tipped my barista . I Really want to love this place . I will try again . I left about 5:45 15 mins before they close and went to In-ef-fa-ble coffee inside Enson Market for a normal sized cappuccino

My first time visiting the Commonplace Coffee in Rockwell Park. We were participating in a Saturday art show upstairs in the same building, so the location was very convenient for me and many other visitors. The was a decent line when I arrived, but things moved quickly as they were well staffed. I ordered a large peppermint mocha off the special menu as well as a cinnamon roll. Both were pretty good. The mocha wasn’t too hot when I got it like at some places, but that allowed me to try it right away. Not too strong of a peppermint flavor which I know scares some people away from trying such seasonal drinks, so this could be a good one for first timers to try. That place was nice with plenty of seating and a big garage door that can open in warmer months.

Came in because we’d run out of milk for our own brewed coffee. Commonplace sold us a cup and saved the morning from a catastrophic event!

This commonplace coffee is located in Rockwell park. The place is spacious and comfortable with a variety of seating and tables. The baked goods and salads are delicious. A great place to talk, work, study and read while enjoying the best coffee in the city.

This is in my local neighborhood. I love this place. The lattes are very well made. I’m able to walk there for my morning caffeine fix. It’s very beautiful and cozy in there, the employees are very nice. I’m very happy. When I say I want a latte, I’m talking about common place.

I graduated from IUP in 2009 and have such fond memories of the commonplace on the IUP campus. I spent so much time there studying and hanging out with friends. Now 16 years later ( ) I’ve moved back to Pittsburgh after many years in Nashville and have enjoyed sharing the commonplace locations with my husband and old college friends. The coffee and baked goods and ambiance are so warm and inviting and I always feel like I’m visiting some kind of home in a way. Love what you have built!

Great coffee and atmosphere. Plenty of space and seating options. Great variety in pastries and unique latte flavors (like Orange Basil). We enjoy picking up coffee beans here!

They’re a little bit clueless as to the fact that a bunch of people absorbing wifi RF on laptops are not serving anyone else when they run out of seating. Have fun standing here waiting for rude people to enter and take your seat in front of you while the wait staff watch.

A brief respite in the city.
An open space coffee house with library vibes.
Great cortados and brekky sandwiches
Across from the East End Food Co-Op.
Great place to park yourself with a book!
Or do that last minute WFH report before the wknd.
Been looking forward to coming here since they opened. The egg, cheese and pesto sandwich was done frittata style on whole wheat bread.
The Cortado was delicious. The espresso’s not too acidic too. I would come here again and again if I had books and finals.
Staff’s kind and friendly.
Food’s good to be had.
Drinks speak for themselves.
Stop by and see if you like!

Genuinely some of the best coffee ive ever had. So much flavor and depth in their lattes. Prices are also super reasonable for the quality you get. Definitely some of the best you can get on the east end.
