Precovid we really enjoyed food from here. The naans and kabab rolls were delicious. Today, we were craving the mix grill we had from here a while ago. We called for takeout, the lady was friendly. The order was ready in 15 mins. However we were really disappointed. The pieces of chicken taste old and were very tough. Only the seekh kababs were okay and one bihari boti. The rest we couldn’t stomach. The naan was a frozen naan! We called and let them know that we expected a fresh naan. The lady claimed these naans are premade by their restaurant…but it looked just like the frozen ones you can buy at any desi store.

Ordered the galawati kabab and paratha and aloo paratha both were fresh and delicious served with a lot of love. We went during covid and sanitation and safety measures we’re good. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and even though they were working alone the food was ready quickly and tasted delicious. Will come back again

Awesome yummy food, great quality and quantity. Absolute value for money. The owners are friendly and helpful. Love their Kebabs. Their Chicken Sheekh Kebabs and Garlic Naan are extremely juicy and yummy. Their Goat Biryani is so yummy. Just love their food and consistent quality and quantity.

Just so you don’t have to read through the whole review to get to the good part- I had the chicken roganjosh and the boti Kabab salan.. omg both were so juicy and great flavor! Not too many strange spices, not too creamy, not too salty but just the right taste!
The restaurant is beautiful and authentic. Not too big and not too small. We had a professional group event there, and the owner let the organizers decorate it very nicely. She was so gracious in our use of the restaurant.
From the look of it I knew the dishes I selected from the buffet were going to be fantastic. I am Pakistani so I know good food when I have it lol. Whenever we go out we are disappointed- outside food is never as good as the food at home but we keep trying to find good dishes outside.
The owner is Indian so I believe the dishes are more in Indian style which we have been looking for for a long time! We actually have tried 2 Indian restaurants within the last few weeks, one down the street in Piscataway, and One in North Brunswick, and they were both highly disappointing- too many strange flavors (we love spicy food but not too many strange spices and creams etc).

The worst place. I ordered naan Bihari kabab roll, after taking order she told me that there is no one to make naan. I bought the order home when I start eating oh my God horrible she added only onion the chicken was not cooked properly she didn’t marinate the chicken the paratha which does not be called paratha it looks like roti dipped in oil I regretted why did I order. I will never recommend this place just a waste of money. When I called to complain they have nothing to say there was silent from the other side!

Their Chicken Tikka Biryani is delicious. It is spicy and has a taste of barbecue in it that makes it one of the best dishes I ever tried. I would definitely recommend everyone to try it!! ❤️

Horrible food. Bought lamb chops and it was like eating a piece of leather. The butter chicken had a piece of hair in it. All the sauces and the curry are all watered down crap. They charge expensive 5 start prices when their food is absolutely horrible.

This place has been in existence for a few months, but I had noticed it until they put some prominent signs outside recently.
First impressions: The place is reasonably sized and felt very spacious, unlike many restaurants on Oak Tree road. The decor is simple but attractive… they don’t have the classic Indian paintings which are generally ubiquitous at places like this. However, the soft colors and lights gave it a relaxing ambiance for a casual dinner with my spouse and friends.
Food: We had ordered Tandoori dishes and some curries. I specially liked the Chicken Hariyali Kabab and goat Korma. The vegetarians in our party were happy with the Paneer Makhni & Chana Masala. Their naan is simply amazing… very fresh and tasty. The chicken biryani was better than most places, although it could be spicier, based on my standards.
Service: Our server had a pleasing personality and made sure everyone in our party felt welcome. From time to time he checked in on us and got additional naan promptly when we needed it.
Price: I have eaten at many Indian restaurants in the area and feel that Mezbaan’s prices were lower than market for most items. For example, their naan was only 0.99 cents, while most places have it for $1.49 or higher. This could be because they are trying to establish their place in the competitive landscape and based on their food quality and price, they seem well on track for accomplishing that.
This is an ideal place for a casual dinner with family and/or friends. I just hope that that they maintain the quality of their food and service.

The food is delicious, I had chicken afgani biryani which is really flavorful, Good SERVICE and nice ambiance with wonderful slow music. Enjoyed my dinner lot more than expected.
