Very rude. We went to go get a snack and noticed the spot. I saw fried pickles and I wanted to get some. Wrong place to go apparently. Me and my boyfriend we’re talking about going in and an employee, outside smoking, told us we could go make the food ourselves if we wanted something. We thought he was kidding but when we made our order for the pickles we paid almost $6 and I guess we paid per slice of pickle because we receive about 5 slices… Apparently this is not the place to go and I hope no one makes the mistake we did.. bad service and quality.

My favorite place to go to for fair like foods whenever I visit the area. The place is tiny with no tables to sit inside, but there are plenty of places to sit outside or get a to go box to walk around with and take in the sights. The staff is always attentive and friendly.

I paid $18 for funnel cake and a pretzel. The pretzel was oily and cooked in a microwave. The funnel cake was bland and except for the sugar on top, had no flavor. I wouldn’t be so upset if the food were cheaper, but for the price I paid I was hoping for something that at least tasted good. At least my kids enjoyed it.

The only thing better than the incredible lunch at Subs n Bubs was the dessert! The funnel cake was without a doubt the best I’ve had. The menu also features fried strawberries! While we were far too full for more today we will make a special trip just to try these and more!

Food was absolutely disgusting. Nothing was cooked correctly. Waited 20 minutes for cold food. The kid making the food had a bad attitude and was cussing in front of women. Not to mention he went to his face numerous times while making people’s food. Scratching his nose and touching his mouth then touching the customer’s food. The health department might get a call the conditions looked horrible in the kitchen.

Really long wait time for a below average funnel cake. The taste was good, but it was the smallest, flimsiest funnel cake I’ve ever had. Staff was also asked by another customer what time they closed…the employee answered “we might be closing in a few minutes or at nine”. Say what???!!!

This weekend my wife and I tried this for lunch and had amazing food. We tried the chicken fingers w/ fries, pulled pork sandwich (new to the menu this weekend is what I was told) w/ fries, and a funnel cake. Everything was tasty especially the pulled pork and funnel cake. Will definitely go back to eat on future visits to Helen.

Do not eat here. Food was absolutely terrible. You would be better off eating the receipt you get seeing the Pretzel had zero flavor. Don’t even get me started on the Chicharrones granted it’s a German town and not Tijuana. Only flavor came from the teijin they put on top them. You bite into them thinking it will be soft and fluffy but instead feels like you bit into styrofoam. The fried Pb&J was good but heck not even carnie can mess up something deep fried.
