It was a beautiful restaurant and location. Everything was overpriced for the quality. But that’s what you get when it’s the only restaurant there. There was a 20% service charge on the bill which seemed like the waiters didn’t want to be as present or helpful because it was an automatic charge. The food was good and we were happy with the flavor. The drinks were good too. But once again, everything was highly overpriced. It was a good one time stop to eat. If we went back to Seven Falls, we probably would eat before arriving or stop somewhere after leaving.

I happened on this restaurant while hiking up the Seven Falls trail. Wha a fantastic find! The staff was very friendly and helpful, food was outstanding (I had the Western Slope Trout, with the Gold Pannery drink – both I would definitely order again!!), and the atmosphere was super charming. Definitely recommend!!

This was our favorite Broadmoor restaurant so far! Husband had the trout and I had the bison. Both were excellent. They handled his garlic allergy with ease. Even with not great weather we had a nice time. Go and hike and stay for dinner. Make a reservation and buy your park pass in advance to make it quick. Have the Broadmoor drop you right at the door.

I am surprised to see a lower rating for this restaurant as we had a good experience. The prices are on the higher side which is expected from anything Broadmoor. Other than the pricing, this checks all the boxes and has a cool vibe and unbeatable location right at the base of the falls.

Foods are beautiful AND delicious
Servers are from random other countries. Be sure to speak to them & ask their stories. Employees are very friendly & welcoming.
Foods & drinks were fantastic. Our lunch for 3 people was $250.00 so be prepared for that price tag!!

The restaurant is located on such a picturesque location, has a neat ancient look, serves tasty food, yet the service is very disappointing and the price is very costly. A little disappointed because they already added service charges and they were hefty too. They took almost 45 mins to bring a cup of soup and a rice bowl when hardly anyone was an available in the restaurant. Better save money and head out to a good restaurant.

Dined here a couple months ago, while they were still open. The food was decent but not worth it for a 38 dollar plate. Service was slow and sloppy, the server India spilled my soda all over the table and on me and my son. She was not even sorry, when I wanted to talk to a manager. I had to wait another 10 minutes just to talk, the manager Gabrielle who was clearly on a smoke break was unkind and not pleasant to look at. She was not wearing a bra which not only ruined my appetite but also my entire week. She’s very unsettling to look at. Like damn. The best she could do was comp 15 dollars off. Overall I don’t recommend 1858 or Gabrielle I won’t be returning EVER!!!!!

The rushing falls around the restaurant and the interior design was amazing, it is down hill from there. The location is the only appealing thing about this place, I would recommend just going to see the falls and not dine here. Some of the restaurant staff was great the others not so much. Our drinks were often empty, so was our neighboring tables. Was handed the check after the main course, without asking if we wanted dessert, bill was incorrect, other staff were pointing at us. Overall I would not recommend this establishment, especially for the price tag is not even remotely worth the value. Go to the falls for a day trip, save your money and go a nice steakhouse afterwards for a good value.

Ok place to grab something to eat IF YOU are not in a rush. Food out of the kitchen took about 45 minutes from being placed to arriving, and it wasn’t busy while we were there [lunch crowd was gone]. Staff were very friendly and extremely courteous. Bbq Bacon shrimp were delicious, highly recommend.

We made reservations to eat here first lunch after we hike the Seven Falls. The restaurant is wonderfully decorated and surrounded by the beautiful Falls.
After a long and wonderful hike and climb we started off with a nice cold refreshing beer. Followed by the BBQ Shrimp and a side of the Green Chilli and the Red Trout. The Shrimp and Chilli was excellent. The Red Trout was OK, but the sauce did not pair well with the fish.
The waitress was awesome, she was nice and friendly and made our dining experience enjoyable.
