SusiCakes has the best cakes, cupcakes and cookies around. They have a bunch in stock and you can order whatever you want. Their ingredients are the best and nothing is every stale.
We went to a different one once before and I found them too pricey. With prices going up they are now the same as my local bakery, which I won’t use much anymore. These cakes are simply better in everyway.
The staff is so happy and nice. They know everything they have and will tell you how long a special order will take and they are always right.
The place is just adorable and it is ever so clean.
Parking is easy in a huge lot, it is in a strip type mall and parking is only a little hard around 7 pm because of the not so great eatery next door. But they close at 7 pm so you won’t have an issue.
It is just a happy place to be. You can also get cake by the slice, we will try everyone that way and see which ones will become our go to cake. They have smaller cakes and regular size cakes.

Over the past two years we bought two cakes from this shop and I have to say the cakes are super sweet!! After taking 3-4 bites it becomes overwhelming due to the extraordinary sweetness. If you have a sweet tooth that can handle it, this is your place. It would be nice if they offered some lighter options that aren’t super sugary/sweet.

I’m a long time Susie cakes customer & won’t be any longer. About a year or so ago, I emailed the owner about the black and mold green carrot pieces in the carrot cake. I got a friendly reply from her saying how customer satisfaction is her top priority & she would take care of it. Waited a long time to get that cake again & no change, still there! Today several pieces. Why? There is no excuse & the replies to dissatisfied customers are all similar, thanking & promising change. Another reviewer had the same experience.

I have been here many times and love it! The chocolate cake and Whoopi pie (chocolate cookies with vanilla buttercream) are my favorites! Chocolate chip cookie, chocolate, and vanilla cupcakes are delicious! And the strawberry cupcake was great!

I had ordered from Susie’s with no issues in the past but this time for my own birthday I experienced troubles. The website wasn’t letting me place my order so I had to make it over the phone. Over the phone I ordered a black heart vintage cake but when I picked up my order it was a round black cake. I would assume some empathy with my situation but there was never an apology or any acknowledgement for the error considering I spent $100 on a cake. I then had issues with the writing I just found it so surprising that it looked so bad I had to remove it and cover it with something else. The experience added extra stress to my hectic birthday and at the end of the day I didn’t get the cake I wanted.

My first experience walking into SusieCakes was welcoming. The place is clean and spacious, the staff was more than generous. The sweet guy who helped me check out gave me a freebie too. I didn’t get his name but he was very sweet.
I bought 2 slices of their popular red velvet cake and I got a free strawberry cupcake.
I myself am a baker, and the reason why I came here was because my cousin’s bday cake was the red velvet and just as I recall it is still just as good. Cream cheese frosting is fluffy and the cake was moist too.
Although, I wasn’t necessarily fond of the strawberry cupcake, the cake was a bit on the drier end but the frosting kinda made up for it, it seems like they used real strawberries as the flavor was very subtle but not overwhelming. Kinda tasted like a strawberry shortcake.
I would definitely be back for the red velvet occasionally.

Everything looked delicious, lots of colourful cakes covered in frosting to choose from. Cupcakes of every kind and only a few cookies. I was hoping they had pastries, as I was looking for a bakery. But the name of the place is pretty self-explanatory, they make cakes. If you’re looking for cakes or cupcakes, that’s your place.

My favorite bakery for special occasions. The cake is buttery and moist and the frosting is amazing!! Picked up a small lemon cake this time to celebrate my oldest’s birthday. Of course I had to get some cupcakes in other flavors for the rest of us 😉 Staff is always quick and friendly.

I really enjoy Susie Cakes at any of thier locations. What I liked about this one in the Marina is that the interior is more spacious. Not a big deal to some people, but it does make a difference when there’s a crowd or long line of customers. Besides that, service was excellent. The desserts (cakes, cookies, bars, etc.)

Susie Cakes has a clean, beautifully designed space with a awesome staff that are just as excited to serve cakes as you are buying them. They easily have the best cakes in the area and their cupcakes should be considered a schedule 1 narcotic…I’m not kidding! I always get a cake from here for the kids birthdays and I always hear people talking about, “ohhhh snap, they got Susie Cakes!” They really are that much better…only one way for you to find out!
