My wife and I have passed this place multiple times and always wanted to stop in and try it out. Well today was that day. We definitely weren’t disappointed. Upon walking in we loved the decor and were immediately met and seated. The waiter quickly took the drink orders and brought out the chips and salsa. We ordered our meals and they were also brought out quickly and were delicious. The service throughout the meal was excellent and we never had to ask for a drink refill. The only minor thing was I ordered a chicken fajita and pico and guacamole aren’t included. Not a deal breaker but I’ve never had a fajita that doesn’t include both.

A friend and I traveled through Brookville today. We chose La Calaca for lunch and we were so glad we did! I wish we lived nearby so we could visit again!
Our server, Gumy, provided excellent service. We ordered tacos and a chimichanga with shredded chicken for our main courses and both were excellent. I asked to substitute black beans for the refried beans and I was accommodated. The salsa was delicious, as was the guacamole.
We both loved the modern decor and I liked the beverage glasses so much that I bought two to take home!

The food is great, the atmosphere is amazing and the service is top notch! We have a large family and we’re visiting and this place was suggested by a friend that went with us and she was right this place is amazing! I highly recommend giving this place a try if you’re in the area!

I’m from Brookville, but I live in the Washington, DC, area now and have eaten at many Tex-Mex restaurants in my life. I’m so happy that my hometown has this place. I ordered takeout the other day, and it was ready on time, the staff was very kind, and the food was still hot when I got home. And it was delicious! Not too salty, not covered in too much sauce. Great quality chicken and other ingredients. I ordered a la carte one chicken enchilada, one cheese enchilada and a chicken tostada. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to eating there again.

I had to update my review since I’ve eaten there several times now. I love this restaurant! I’ve been to Mexico about 10 times and this food is very authentic. Their street tacos are phenomenal and everything we’ve had has been delicious. Servers are very friendly and attentive. Weve been eating here every week. Love that Brookville has such a great restaurant! PREVIOUS REVIEW: We stopped by for lunch and split the appetizer sampler. It was plenty big for 2 for lunch. The only negative is the chicken fingers (they tasted store bought and didn’t go with the rest of the platter). The other items were delicious and fresh. Service was great but only 1 other table seated.

Galindo was the most promp server I have ever had from a Out of our home town Mexican restaurant. Happy Pollo was absolutely delicious the Enchiladas Suprema was spot on too.

We are from Ohio and were just driving through and saw the restaurant. Everything was delicious. We ate at 6pm on a Friday and were seated immediately and food was ready in 10 minutes! They provided a nice birthday treat for my daughter and everything was spectacular! I wish we could come back but it’s about 2 hours from home.
