It was a Saturday night in National Harbor and the town was out because they were starting to celebrate the holidays. I ended up going to Bombay Street food because some of the other places were very busy or not taking walk-ins. The doors were very elegant and inviting the interior of the space was bright colorful And a gorgeous ode to Indian textiles. The back wall had displays of very famous Bollywood movies and scenes. It was very eye-catching. I ended up seated at the bar since I was a table for one which was absolutely fine with me. I was greeted and provided the menu I must say the menu is a bit difficult to read given the font. I ended up having a water and asking some questions about the menu. It seemed like the best option was to get the thali which included four different vegetables, naan and rice. The drinks were a bit overpriced, with $10 for a mango lassi. It was not my speed to get that. And then I sat there and waited. I watched a couple of other folks come in, they ordered appetizers, which looked cute. I watched the bartender make drinks unfortunately he didn’t come back to check on me in terms of if I needed more water or if things were going OK. Eventually, my thali came out. It was expansive and well displayed. The naan was ok, and the two best vegetable options were the saag paneer and the aloo gobhi. The Chana masala was decent. I left the dal makhani, it didn’t have the right flavor. The raita was slimey. I wish the food had been as good as the decor. The bartender didn’t come back to refill my water. I finally got my check when I was able to get his attention. This wasn’t right for me.

We’ve been to this restaurant multiple times—for lunch, dinner, and even snacks—and it has never disappointed! The food is consistently absolutely delicious.

Everything we tried was amazing: vada pav, chicken tikka with naan/roti, Madras fish, chicken lassi, biryani, chicken Manchurian, and tandoori chicken. Every dish was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and fresh. You can really taste the quality and care in the food.

The ambience is fantastic—lively, colorful, and full of Indian Bollywood vibes, which makes it especially fun for families. Kids will absolutely love it! ✨

Overall, this place is a go-to spot for great Indian food, amazing atmosphere, and a wonderful dining experience. Highly, highly recommend! ️

I can say, the garlic naan bread was good. However, I was given the broken chair to sit on that you see in the picture. I had to ask for napkins four times, then was only given 3 thin napkins. Initially, there was little items floating in the glass of water. I had to ask for straws two times. Lastly, when I paid, the waiter did NOT run the card I gave him. He returned to the table and said the card didn’t work, not once but twice and asked me to use a different card to say, I didn’t have money on the card I gave him. I grabbed his scanner and swiped the card myself and it went through just fine. It was like he was trying to embarrass me in front of other customers. This was totally degrading and I will never go back!!!

The chicken fried rice is the best! As someone from Vietnam, I didn’t expect to love this dish so much, but I was pleasantly surprised. I’m trying my best to finish it all (LOL). Highly recommended if you’re in the area and love flavorful, satisfying food. Definitely coming back for more!

The food was incredible, the ambience was perfect, and everything felt so well-coordinated. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the entire restaurant was spotless. We ordered the chicken Manchurian and the biryani – both delicious. A truly enjoyable dining experience from start to finish — highly recommended!

The atmosphere was incredible, music super chill, and service was outstanding. I chose the bar for my dinner. I was waiting still for my family who was joking me to see the Circus de Italia. I ordered the butter chicken, the food came so quickly within a few minutes. The plates and presentation was out of this world, full of etiquette. The butter chicken was slightly spicier than I expected. “Om” was at bar front and bartender; he was so in pleasant and engaging; he noticed right away my discomfort with the spicy stuff and quickly offered me yogurt to mild the taste. He offered me a drink on the house. The creamy mango kind! it was delicious. By the end of meal I enjoyed the service so much I even included a dessert. Thanks “Om”

It was an amazing experience, the restaurant was just perfect in every thing (food, services, atmosphere). The stuff is so friendly and very good food servant. The Shrimp Briany, better chicken and nan bread were all really tasty and delicious.

Over and above, the food is Halal which a plus credit for them.

I would definitely revisit the restaurant again.

Highly recommended, and Im gonna rate the restaurant with five stars high rating. Well deserved!

We came to National Harbor on a rainy Sunday — and yes, we intentionally came here for Indian food. I’ve only had Indian cuisine twice in my life… and this was by far the best (I don’t even remember the first one!). The owner was so kind and attentive, we felt like guests in someone’s home. Our stomachs and hearts left full. Definitely worth the visit!

Came here with my family and the ambience is great which is why I have that a 4. The food on the other hand was not good. Not flavorful and entirely toooooo spicy. They were heavy handed on the spices. The effort of customer service was so minimal the only reason I gave that a 2 was because our waitress tried her best. I would’ve gave the overall experience a 2 but a server threw the plate of rice down at my mother. He also stared at us the entire night and I feel like it was because they were an hour and a half away from closing and we were the only party in there. If you like spice and no flavor yes go there. If you like flavor and spice then no I don’t reccomend.
