There are 4 chocolatiers in Erie and Sharon, PA. STEFFANELLIS , Romolos, Pulakos and Daffins.
The Best, in my opinion is Steffanellis! Their chocolate, be it milk, dark or white is always so creamy smooth. You can just let it melt in your mouth and slide down your throat.
What would be my favorite? It would be better to ask me what I do not like. I like their sponge candy, their melt away, assorted nuts, assorted creams, solid chocolate-like Easter bunnies, chocolate covered strawberries, grapes and raspberries. Their candy bars, love the krispie ones! Oreos covered in chocolate, did I mention sponge candy?
I could go on, but you see my point… everything is great tasting!!!
I moved from Erie in 2017. It wasn’t until my first Easter, standing in front of the Easter display of big name chocolate companies, that I realized how lucky the people are in Northwestern Pennsylvania. Four chocolatiers!!! People of Erie and surrounding counties keep them in business because it’s a sad world without them!

Checkout woman was rude. Was asking if they had a container or bag that I could buy for my candy since it was a gift. She gave me a plain white bag “,this is what we got”. She said “Christmas candy ain’t on sale”. Just rude I wont go back there.
