I am so proud of the city of Dallas. We have come so far and I know there is tremendous love in our city in spite of our Texas government. … Photo by chimlanh ( …

chimlanh became an instant favorite! I tried their coconut việt cà phê and their tofu bánh mì. My iced cà phêcito was rich and decadent!! I like that it wasn’t overly sweetened and that the coffee flavor is strong. The tofu in the bánh mì had my taste buds raving!! It’s bursting with flavor. I could easily pound down three blocks of tofu if they are cooked like that. The fresh and pickled veggies were nice and crisp. It was a perfectly balanced sangweech. ✨

I loved the atmosphere as well! It’s a charming place.

chimlanh is always my go-to “treat yourself”! I don’t get to come here often, but when I do, it never disappoints. Chef Reye, Lesley and Sang are the best. All of the drinks are delicious – from the ca one to the lemonades and teas, they’re so well thought out. Cedars Saigon has quickly become my new #1 drink! Give it a try, you won’t regret it!

Chimlanh is tucked in a corner with its back facing the street. It’s unassuming but when you get there, you’re greeted with a colorful facade and plenty of outdoor seating. I got the Saigon coffee, which uses a coconut pandan foam on top of traditional Vietnamese drip coffee. I had some modifications to my drink due to allergies, and I was given suggestions as well for what flavors I loved the most. It’s a small business that I will start coming back to for my Vietnamese inspired lattes!

Be sure to check out this Vietnamese coffee shop! This is under the same storefront and location as Sandwich Hag 🙂

My husband and I love Viet coffee and have tried so many places in Vietnam in our lifetime and Chimlanh makes some of the best here! The coffee is flavorful, strong, perfectly sweetened!

I tried this place for the first time the other day, and I cannot wait to go back! The Cegars Saigon and ham and egg breakfast bagel were incredible. The staff were super friendly, and even explained what when into their coffee and how they make it. The vibe of the place is cool as well, as it’s a walk up coffee spot with plenty of tables outside, and a cute book area where you can read while you’re there.

This is my second time here and I am never disappointed. I’m not usually a “sandwich” type person but I absolutely loved my meal today. And the coffee is one of the best and smoothest I have ever had!

What a dream it is to have an AAPI owned business that is community focused, serves incredible coffee along with tasty and unique bites all under 1 roof- right here in Dallas proper! The owner served me in my first visit with great care and made my time here a memorable one. That means more than any product ever could.

I’ve tried the popular ube drink, it was so tasty! I came back for the Cedars Sàigòn and it won my heart! The Trứng Chiên Fried-Egg Bánh Mì was FIRE with that piquant nuoc cham sauce.

May this place continue to thrive and sustain its owners and community. It’s a true Dallas gem!

First time trying Chimlanh and this place is amazing! Chef Reye Duong is incredibly friendly and welcoming and extremely helpful when it came to ordering. I had the bánh mí bagel with spam and a fried egg and to drink the Cedars Saigon iced latte. Both were incredibly delicious! 10/10 first time experience!

I adore places like this. Owned by Chef Reye Duong, who owned the best banh mi shop in Dallas. Sandwich Hag. She makes the most bold and unique coffee that transports you outside of the chaotic Dallas city vibe. The place as far as looks goes, shows out. The colors are pleasing and well kept. Beautiful homages to personal family and viet culture. Got the Ceder Saigon (pandan Viet coffee) so good. The sweet of the Pandan wasn’t overbearing and very pleasant with the dark bold flavor of well roasted viet coffee. With that refreshing and awakening beverage, I enjoyed a banh mi bagel. The pickled radish and carrot with the honey ham and the flavors of an everything bagel were a party in my mouth. This bagel is the coolest and most unique combo of flavors. It’s not dry. Not heavy, but refreshing and satisfying. The chef acknowledged me and made me feel so welcomed to the shop as well. Got the rainbow bagel that is so vibrant but also extremely flavorful. With the Honey Agave Schmear and the Almond Schmear. It’s a 10/10 experience for a sweeter bagel lover. So please I finally made time to go to this shop and enjoy such a high quality breakfast. GO HERE! This is a MUST GO!

Update:
Came here for the Nam Mocha egg crème with coconut shavings and chocolate shavings. The Banh mi sandwich revived my soul. Loved the house-made ingredients!Including pickled veggies like Daikon and Carrot. Perfectly crunchy with the seasoned spam that isn’t too over powering cause of the creamy and delicious sauce. I love how consistent this chef harmonizes her flavors. 10/10, gonna keep craving this even MORE. Didn’t even know that was possible.

Had the spam and egg bagel sandwich. It was very delicious. I would love to see this combination in a traditional baguette, banh mi style but that’s just a personal taste.

I also ordered two coffees; I felt that the coffees were refreshing but nothing too crazy. They were good, and helped with the cool weather but I might try a different drink instead for next time.

I also am a big supporter of what the owner represents and does for her community, so I will return.

Overall, pretty tasty sandwich
