A delicious find on a long road trip from Mississippi to Texas. They serve authentic North Indian food. They even accommodated our request for masala chaas / buttermilk. The size of tea cup was very generous. The kadi pakora stole the show – it was the best we have had in USA. The tawa roti was very soft. We enjoyed the friendly and generous service and will definitely stop again during our next road trip. Ambience is okay. It’s a very casual dining place.

The food is INCREDIBLE! The customer service was really good. Nice guy. Very calm atmosphere. Music was on point. Very relaxing and perfect volume. I knew the food would be good but it surpassed what k was expecting ! Thank you for having this business on the road for those of us truckers who appreciate a hot meal made with real ingredients and vegetables!

Excellent food and even better service. We found this place while traveling from Texas to Mississippi, and the parathas were so good we returned again on our way back. Very friendly and well-mannered staff. Highly recommended!!!

A must try! The atmosphere is lacking, BUT don’t let that deter you from coming and trying the food. The food is very good, the portion size is decent as we all shared, but I feel as though the prices should be a little cheaper. Two adults, a child, we ordered three meals, one rice, one Raita, mango drink, one roti and we had no leftovers for $65. Food was excellent, service was good, but it did lack at the end of our meal. We ordered another roti half way through our meal and never got it. We would have ordered a sweet dish, but our waiter never came back around. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Also, they are next to the casino so you will get the essence of cigarettes as you first enter. Not very bad, just a warning for those who don’t do well with smoke.

I had Mixed Parotta at Golden Indian Restaurant & Desi Dhaba, and it really felt like stopping at a highway dhaba in India. The parotta was fresh and big in size, and they served small cubes of butter which were more than enough. They also gave me a cup of dahi that tasted just like Indian village curd. I even took some curd culture home to make my own. They also offered Desi-style mango pickle, which added even more authentic taste.
The gentleman at the reception was very kind, the service was nice, and the portion size was perfect. The atmosphere is simple, just like a real dhaba, but the taste is really good.
Anyone travelling on I-20 from Dallas to Monroe should definitely try this place.

Absolutely loved the food here. Perfect Indian Dhaba vibe. Jeera rice is a must try. Staff is very friendly. We called them 40 mins ago and placed the order to save time. Everything was served hot and ready as we arrived.

Food?…dissapointing.
Service? Had to check food out of a notebook and didn’t get water until the last minute I think he forgot that we humans get thirsty.
Atmosphere?the decor looks like depression he is a I prefer McDonald’s even taco bell looks better. This place feels like a disaster, honestly I don’t have any idea how it’s ratings were so high. Do not recommend
