I try to patronize the businesses in my community so I stopped by the Pink Cafe to check them out. Reviewed the menu in the lobby and decided on an item only to realize there was also a menu behind the counter (to the side) that had my item priced $3 higher. No biggie. Mentioned it to them but paid the difference and kept it moving.
She said 20 minutes so I went to my car to wait. When I came back in, it still wasn’t ready. I went ahead and ordered wings and fries for my son since he was all of a sudden hungry (lol) and went back out. When I came back in about 15 minutes later it still wasn’t ready . After a few more minutes my salmon plate came out. Ya’ll…this has got to be the smallest piece of salmon ever. Yes…I mentioned that too but chose to keep what I had given the wait.The sides portions were great, however. Waited about 5 more minutes for my chicken and left.
When I got home I was upset I even visited. The salmon wasnt charred it was good and burnt. The rice was very bland, I’m still looking for the cheese in the Mac and something in the yams smelled funny. I tried stealing one of my sons wings and after a bite I gave it right back (he’s like Mikey he eats anything lol). Wasted my time and money. I really wanted it to be great.

Unassuming from the outside, so cute on the inside!! We got catfish bites meatloaf and an Italian ice. We enjoyed everything! Good portions.

Food was delicious! I had the grilled wings with mac and cheese and my new favorite side FRIED BROCCOLI! Yum! My son had the steak plate with collard greens and yellow rice. Steak was so tender! I would suggest you call in your order because the wait was a little long but was so worth it!

The Restaurant is simply beautiful! The food is delicious! However, I am not able to provide positive feedback regarding the customer service. The young lady at the register did not greet me so I greeted her. This was my first time here, not once did she ask if I needed help with anything. She was too involved with her conversation on the phone. My order was taken with her hand over her face as if she doesn’t feel like being bothered. She handed my food to me and said “here you go” and walked away. There’s no professionalism exuded at all! Horrible customer service can cause devastating damage to your restaurants’ reputation. I believe in giving someone the option to fix an issue (especially black owned businesses) so I will be back again with hopes of a different experience.

I ordered for myself and children, we had the turkey chops w/Yellow rice. Grilled chicken breast with Mac and cheese, and wings with fries. It has to be the worst food I’ve had. The rice is bland, the meats had no flavor and had a rotten taste. The wings were undercooked and burnt. I spent 45 dollars, waited 20 mins for bad food. People don’t go there you will regret it. These people should not be in business.

It should be 5 stars, because I was late getting my food. However, I’m not sure why there were a few bad reviews. But, my chicken & waffles along with my shrimp & grits were on point. I called my order in, & the customer service was nothing short of amazing. I’ll be returning soon.

Recently, went here with a group of friends, everyone enjoyed there food. I ordered the grilled Salmon, with Mac & Cheese and greens, it was good and I would definitely go back again if in the area and will recommend to others. I really like the fact the the owner I believe was cooking and had her younger daughter assisting. Keep up the good work my sistahs ✊

Paid 10.99 for two shrimp and grits plates. One plate had 5 shrimp the other had 6. I inquired to the staff about the different quantities the cashier replied she didn’t know why. The cook came from the back and said “oh I ran out of shrimp did you want to wait?”. This is not the first event where my food was incorrect. For the amount of money we as consumers pay for this food the least that could happen is get what is being paid for. I’ll pass the next time it is offered and definitely won’t make the trip.

EXCELLENT FOOD AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! This is my third time coming to Pink Cafe & each time has been exquisite! This time I came right when the doors were closing and the young lady ( I think her name was London ) still let me come in to order , even though she was leaving . She didn’t rush me while I was unsure what I had taste for . I got lamb Chops , Shrimp and Rice . London gave me a free drink ! I left her a nice tip . This is definitely somewhere to go for a home cooked meal . I WILL BE BACK with my family 🙂 thanks !
