Got a chicken tikka and donner nan bab. The chicken was minimal, the donner was down there with the worst and the sauce appeared to be a sweet and sour sauce with chilli from a jar.

Ordered from here first time after reading positive reviews. Wasn’t dissapointed. Beautiful soft chunks of lamb tikka, fresh salad and lovely yoghurt sauce. Had a chicken korma too, lovely thick sauce and large chunks of chicken. Decent amount too. Definitely my new local!

Diva Khanah has been, in my opinion, the best Indian takeaway in Washington for years. Not only is the flavour amazing, I’ve posted a photo here to give an idea of portion size. They are the only takeaway I’ve come across that uses the same size cartons for rice as the main curry dish but, don’t worry, as you can see from the photo the portions of chicken are incredibly generous too. This is a Chicken Vindaloo with Mushroom Pilau.
Outstanding takeaway, wouldn’t go anywhere else in Washington.

Amazing. Divan Khanah has been our first choice Indian in Washington for 20+ years now and they still excel. I can only review on our preferred dishes but the Phal and Balti are sublime. When you finish your Phal and are talking about flavour rather than just heat then they’re doing something right. If I’m being picky, the cost of living crisis has meant there is less chicken than in my previous review but still plenty, and be aware they now close at 22:30;so don’t get caught out as we were last week. Turned out to be worth the wait though. Oh, and the return of their sister takeaway ‘Divanos’ is exciting. Used to love their curry pizzas but frustrated thr hottest was only madras, bit new menu seems to have the full range of curry varieties so will be trying very soon!

I got the chicken tikka phal, for me it was tasty but only slightly spicy, for me it needs to be 10× Hotter than it was, i do recommend as it was tasty but needs to be hotter in spicy-ness. I asked for a phal nan that also needs to be even hotter in spice, pepper X, reaper & ghost peppers mixed in will make it 100%, proper up the spicyness.

Ordered a takeaway, 2 rogan josh, £11.93 each. It arrived and it was chicken and not very nice chicken at that. If you type into Google rogan josh it says its usually lamb or mutton. I’ve never had a chicken rogan josh in my life. Rang the takeaway and the manager wasn’t interested. I also ordered poppadoms which didn’t arrive. Again the manager wasn’t interested because we had ordered from deliveroo. Spent nearly £50 on a takeaway for 2 and most of it went in the bin. Absolutely abysmal
