Breakfast was amazing! Black and white westerns on the tv made the morning perfect. If you have the time stick around when the owner had second he will let you in the gift shop there’s some chainsaw art in there and old native paintings I forget the artist name. When they close the restaurant you can get a tour out back to the star house ect. If you want to learn about local history this is where to go! Wayne thank for amazing breakfast! Megan thank you for the tip on where to hike it was beautiful and girl knows her outlaw history. Can’t wait to go back!

Food is amazing, Wayne is awesome. But the weirdo waitress he has working there is really strange and super rude. Went to lunch today and walked in. I sat down and rushed the the table and rudely asked what I wanted to drink. I looked up and simply said “hi how are you” she took a step back and STARTED YELLING AT ME about how “she isn’t doing this today”. For one I have zero idea what she is talking about and I’m sitting there stunned. Needless to say I never even got a drink. I’ll return once this strange lady is gone. I am not sure if she is under the influence of drugs or what is going on with her. But seems like she needs some help. Like I stated earlier. Wayne’s food is great just beware of crazy waitress lady and don’t ask how she doing.

I’ve lived in the area for just over two years, and have to say this place is the best bang for buck food in the Lawton area, maybe anywhere…no hyperbole.The breakfasts are top notch, just had a bacon cheeseburger that was the best i’ve had around here, everything obviously handmade, burger, veggies cut fresh, the onion rings are the beer battered rings(my fav), i’ve had a few dinner specials, all great. The crazy part…the prices are ridiculously low for what you get, now I don’t want the guy to raise the prices, but compared to even the other place a mile away, insane. Don’t let the buildings exterior/interior fool you, in my life/travels, the best food is always from the most unassuming places, this place is one of the best food for the price i’ve ever had across this nation.

This place is gross. It’s a dump from the outside and even worse on the inside. Wayne was unfriendly and just plain odd. My kid and I ate and bounced out of there as quickly as we could!

Would like to try again when mans is having a better day. I don’t know if his cook quit or something. He was the only one working so feels bad man. Waited an hour and a half for two omelettes. We were suppose to get biscuits and gravy but when we got one omelette he said he could throw gravy on toast. Waited 10 more minutes for the other omelette. In the restaurant there was us two and a table of three in the restaurant. He also had two to go orders that he worked on. Food was alright, wasn’t worth the wait though.

In all fairness, we did not eat here, but the place is a dump. The air in the resteraunt was so thick with the smell of old grease there’s no way we could have eaten here. We came to see Quanah Parker’s Star Ranch. The shop next door has some really great stuff, but the shop is in a real terrible mess, and considering this, the prices are steep. The owner was a nice man and has lots of history here. I am a big dog lover, and I didn’t like how he treated his very sweet dog Bandit.
