Best food hands down, there’s so much hate on these two sweet people. The food is good and I’m okay with the price! A lot of people are picky and didn’t grow up eating meals like these. Really good food and there’s no “horror” stories. So dramatic. Love hunans!!

I hate to do this to a small mom and pop restaurant but I feel like I have to. They didn’t have real soy sauce just the little packets that are essentially salt water with caramel color. I asked if they could just put some into a small cup from the kitchen so I could have real soy sauce, but they could not. OK No big deal, I run into this sometimes. The real problem started with the food. I ordered the Hunan beef. The first picture is the Hunan beef I got. The second picture is about what you would expect from a Takeout place. It wasn’t so bad where you had to spit it out, but it did not taste like Chinese food. It tasted like the most generic bland “Food” and was very soupy. The rice was inedible, it kinda tasted like it’s been in the fridge for five days and like the fridge didn’t have an arm and hammer baking soda pack in it if you know what I mean. They were nice and I really wanted to like it.

Food was expensive and sauce was horrible. The cashier looks at you to see if you are going to write in tip but doesn’t come refill your cup of tea. Added egg roll and tea came out to $19.67 plus $2 tip. Way to expensive for food quality service

I’ve heard the horror stories and should have just stayed away, but figured I’d give them my own review. Sweet and sour chicken was mixed with freshly fried chicken and some that had been refried and dried out. The sauce was bland. Wasn’t brave enough to try the chicken and broccoli and the mysterious clear/white sauce it was in. Lo mein was bland as well. Wasn’t worth the gas to drive there and pick it up let alone the $30.00 they charged me! Take my advice and just stay far, far, away from this place. I can tell you the horror stories are true!!!

I was traveling into Cuero , Texas and after a long day I decided to just sit and have a nice dinner indoors instead of doing a drive thru or order delivery. When I drove up there wasn’t one single car in parking lot , but I thought maybe I’m just beating crowd?!
Well I ordered a drink ( soda) and she placed a CAN on table ( no glass , ice nothing !) just a can . Then the soup came in a Takeaway container made of foam and a super thin plastic spoon . Then in a couple of minutes she gave me my steamed rice and chicken with broccoli also in a take out covered container ! When I used thin plastic fork into Broccoli it would bend the fork! No solid plates , silverware, no glass no nothing ! It was horrible! What happen to the Dine-In experience? I was so hungry so tired I just gave up . I would NOT recommend this place at all !! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY TO THOSE WHO DON’T CARE ABOUT YOU , NO EFFORT WHAT SO EVER . My bill was close to $20.00 .

First giveaway was pulling up…2nd was walking in .dead as a doornail .no decor..ordered Mongolian Beef…got it home I don’t know what it was not Mongolian Beef .I’m still sick to my stomach as I write this review . Mongolian beef made w scallions and Chilis they used white onions big chunks fatty chewy beef in greasy oily gravy .the rice was brownish under cooked .huge disappointed ..I see other photos no care taken to prepare dishes ..this place makes Panda Express seem like a gourmet restaurant ..never again ..oh no fortune cookie guess it was my bad fortune to go in there…not eating leftovers ….

Chicken was old and dry. The noodles were over cooked and had no flavor. They staff are rude.

It’s best to avoid this place as the food is mediocre & served in styrofoam containers with plasticware. It appears they kicked on the A/C in the back since we chose to dine in this evening. Coke with no ice nor cup & bottled water from Sam’s Club. Service was pretty poor as well. Unpleasant.

The food was good. The fried rice could use some more flavor and your usual fried rice ingredients “egg, ham, carrots, peas etc”. The place was pretty warm when I entered (about 80 degrees). They made the food fast and were very friendly. Would have been 3 stars but I’m giving 4 stars for turning the AC on for me! Thank You!

Pretty good. I got some orange chicken with fried rice. I felt like it was not the best, but it was easy to customize to my palate with the orange slices and soy sauce they provided. The fried rice could use more egg, but again, easy to remedy. Right now, I can’t really complain and it certainly resolves my hankering for American Chinese.
Staff were super fast and friendly, and they had a lot of takeout orders when I visited and almost half the dine in area was full. Prices are actually good compared to say… Panda Express. A $10 meal fetches a LOT of meat. Where P.E. gives customers predominantly noodles or rice, Hunan gives customers predominantly meat.
Just heads up, certain meals only come with lo mein and others, like my orange chicken, only come with steamed/fried rice. Not a con in my eyes, but others should be forewarned.
I didn’t give 5 stars only because the food was good, but far from the best that I’ve ever had. But that’s just me being nit-picky.
