We had dine in here twice and they just keep on getting better. First visit when they just opened. They were having promo so total bill had a discount.
Food portion is really big. Which is really nice. The server is very attentive and friendly. They had given us ice cream and salad on the house! Their ramen tastes great. Fresh noodles and there were tempura and fried chicken on the side, just perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant. Whenever around the area, this restaurant is a must.

Akura has been our go-to sushi spot ever since they opened. The fish is always incredibly fresh, and and the pieces are chunky! The staff is very warm and welcoming, and we’re often treated to a little complimentary something.

This is my new favorite sushi spot! The sushi always tastes so fresh and is prepared quickly. The ramen is also delicious. Great lunch specials. The staff is kind. I’ve ordered here to go dozens of times and also had sit down meals. Everything is always perfect.

Favorite sushi spot on the UES! Food is always so fresh and the fish is delicious. They have your order ready fast and are super kind- they gave me a free side salad. Love this place!

Super clean and cute spot! They are also very friendly here! The sushi was great for the price! The yaki soba was generous not my fave though. Glad to have this spot in the neighborhood.

I went to the restaurant to make an order to go and the lady at the entrance was very nice and explained me the menu. The prices are more than fair and the food was really good, i was pleasantly surprised by the fish/rice ratio in the rolls!! My favorites were the spicy salmon crunch. Very happy to have this new place in the neighborhood!!!

Excellent new spot. I hesitated to try it for several months because it looks so unassuming, but their ramen and sushi rolls are delicious. The freebie cucumber salad is a nice touch, and the portions are very substantial. They were even kind enough to give me a two-for-one sushi rolls special – the staff are super nice. I would suggest updating the decor inside but otherwise it’s a great addition to the neighborhood and reasonably priced!

Just tried out this little Japanese spot in my neighborhood and loved it! The tempura was perfectly crispy, the rice fluffy, and the salad so refreshing. Always nice to support our local restaurants.and this one is definitely worth it.

Top place in the city for 2 reasons: the house poke bowl was popping with flavor and the ingredients tasted very fresh. And even better – they included a small free appetizer with a request for a review – rather than paying a huge company to generate fake reviews for them. I haven’t seen a restaurant do something as honest and kind as that in years. If we weren’t moving tomorrow this would 100% be our new go to place.
