I love the Melody! Jimmy and Melissa are amazing and caring people! Not to mention all of their employees. Hard to find another bar with a vibe like this one. 100% recommend! Just a heads up tho they don’t have much for food other than snacks but still amazing. Now closing at 8 on Sundays!

There is great food nearby. There is ample parking. Despite rumors to the contrary the patrons here are not kid-unfriendly, the state, however, insists that only kids over 21yrs. old AND can prove it are allowed inside. The DeMary Library is just a half-block away, and several parks within walking distance along with the historical Rupert Square. It is wheelchair accessible, more so through the front door. Karaoke at least one night of the weekend. Drink specials, girls nights, boys nights, Darts, pool. Local Taxi services. If it’s a quieter bar your in the mood for, you can always try to come in earlier. The Melody is a great place for birthdays, anniversarys, or just meeting up with friends and family!

Best bar in town. Good folks, even as an older crowd. (I’m 24, patrons 30’s-60’s) Good place to have a drink, listen to some tunes, BS with friends, and perhaps even pick up a game of billiards.

Went in on a weeknight after 9. Very dead but the two girls in there were super friendly and made it a welcoming time. Better than some of the other places on town. I reccomend.
