The food here is excellent! The service is fast and polite. My husband ordered the garlic chicken and I ordered the moo goo gai pan. The food was fresh and the sauces were spiced just right. It was more than enough as the containers were packed full. Some people are complaining that they do not include rice, but I prefer to decide whether I want rice or not and pay the two dollars extra. I think it’s a smart idea so that rice doesn’t get wasted. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely come there again.

My usual takeout place and usually like it even sometimes sauces r heavy, so i got really disappointed on spicy&hot chicken cause instead of being spicy it was extremely sweet. Not even close to lightly spicy it was the worst. Also chicken was fried n that was unknown and was a bug surprise.

Coming from Boston and a frequent eater of these Chinese restaurants, the China House was “average” at best and overpriced. Quality of the food tasted a bit old, quite common being on an island and most of the products didn’t taste fresh. Yet, the end bill came out close to the same as a high quality restaurant. I would put this on an emergency list if you really want Chinese food. But, overall, overpriced with poor quality food. The clerk in the front was fast and friendly. Takeout only.

I put 3 stars cuz I usually LOVE this place… but yesterday I got food and it seemed like there was barely any liking y to cooking the food…
It was uncut, large whole onions in the chicken chow mein, all veggies uncooked, the broccoli in the general tso was all stems…. the lo main was bland and I was seriously disappointed after spending $$75.
I will try again, but I sure hope they get a new cook or let the one they have now get some sleep…..
