I placed an order for a large pie – half tomato, basil, garlic and the other half sausage, mushroom, onion. When I ended up picking up my order and bringing it home, I saw that only half of my order was correct in that instead of the sausage, mushroom, onion, it was sausage, pepper, onion. I immediately contacted them back and let them know of this mistake. Franco’s Metro was nice enough to provide the proper accommodations by not only making me a new order but they were also kind enough to deliver the pizza to my place, free or charge. I truly value a store’s transparency and willingness to resolve an issue at hand and Franco’s did exactly that. The second pie tasted even better and was baked to perfection, as you can see from the cheese and crust (second photo). I cannot recommend Franco’s Metro enough and since this incident, they have become my go-to Italian restaurant in the area.

I’ll give it 3 stars. The pizza was great ! Customer service could use a little improvement, but overall, it was a good experience. The Alfredo pasta was delicious, I’d give it an 8/10. However, the pasta with tomato sauce wasn’t great at all
it tasted very fresh, but unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy it and didn’t eat it. Also, I had a Snapple, but I think the drink selection could be expanded for more variety.

Aside from the usual selection of delicious entrees, today’s specials included, a sandwich?
It didn’t seem fitting but I wanted something simple. Oh boy was I wrong!! The most delicious sandwich! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
pic didn’t do justice to the taste!

The defining element of this experience was unrelated to the food.

During dinner, the owner approached our table to greet guests. He engaged selectively with others while offering no acknowledgment of my presence — no greeting, no eye contact, no interaction whatsoever.

The disparity was immediate and unmistakable.

Especially in a diverse neighborhood like this one, guests should not feel singled out or dismissed.

No assumptions are necessary; the interaction itself was sufficient to create a measurable sense of discomfort.

What is particularly notable is that this poor conduct originated from the owner. In hospitality, leadership establishes the standard for guest engagement. Courtesy that appears inconsistent at that level inevitably shapes the overall experience.

Our table spent over $200 this evening. The lasting impression, however, was defined not by the meal, but by the absence of basic professional courtesy.

Disgusted. We will not be returning.

We had a small private event for ~25 people at Franco’s. Gene was very accommodating and quick to respond to emails when we were finalizing the reservation and details. Very family-friendly restaurant. The service and attention to detail were top-notch. They saw I was holding my baby for a portion of the meal and offered to reheat my food. On top of that, the food was delicious! Would highly recommend to everyone.

A little difficult to get to but WELL worth the hassle…the bartender and Selina were both helpful…full of local knowledge and as Travellers from the south, we absolutely needed their input. Food was fabulous

We had the Spaghetti Alfredo with Meatballs and the Meat Ravioli, and both were delicious. The staff was gentle, and the atmosphere was very nice, making it a great dining spot.

I ate here three times while I was working in NJ and it was fantastic every time. My friend had the pasta made in the cheese wheel one time and she loved it. I’m gluten free and there are choices, one night I spoke with the kitchen manager while he heard me asking about Gf and came over to offer suggestions which was great because I ended up having the most amazing pork chops that was on their specials. Definitely a great place to go and I’ll go back if I’m working over there again. Ps the salad with the salami cheese wheels on top is phenomenal and I need that salad dressing recipe!

Great family restaurant with a lot of options and a decent kids menu. It can be quite packed on a Friday night, so make sure you make a reservation. We love their margarita, pizza, and spaghetti meatballs. The space can be a little bit crowded when it’s full. Follow me for more food adventures on Instagram at @maggielicious.to

Pizza is made with cheapest ingredients possible. They had a Tuesday $14 special for a large pie which sounded too good to be true and definitely was when it came to quality. A lot of Grease, cheap cheese and nearly edible crust.
