I was at Denville’s Main Street for the first time and I’m so glad I visited The Barn Cafe! One thing that drew me to them was their wide variety of syrups: I love floral syrups, but a lot of cafes don’t offer those flavors. The Barn has lavender and rose, which I think make a drink more unique! I got a medium iced chai latte with oat milk and rose syrup and my drink was ready within 2 minutes of ordering. It was wonderful, the rose is definitely more subtle but it complimented the chai latte flavor really well and I enjoyed it! Medium is a good size for those looking to try a new drink. The atmosphere and staff is really welcoming and the bathroom (for customers only) is very well-maintained. Would return again to try their seasonal items!

Had the chaggagino (very excited they have mushroom coffee here) and cheddar cheese & chive biscuit. Delicious coffee and the biscuit had a little spicy kick to it which was perfect! My friend had the berry smoothie and iced chai. She said they both were very good!

Everything about this place is great—the food, the service, the vibes. The people behind the register are friendly and helpful, the service is quick, and the windows have a great view of the street (perfect for people watching!). I could stay here for hours.

First time coming here because I live 25 mins away. But glad I did. It was Such a cute place! The Coffee was delicious and so was the warmed chocolate croissant! Prices are reasonable too. Will definitely be meeting my friend there again!

Quality coffee, relaxing atmosphere, and great service. The cold brew was bold, and the latte had great flavor. The blueberry muffin was very fresh, and they had plenty of pastries to choose from. Plenty of seating inside and few spots in front located right in downtown Denville.

Came here with my gf because she saw it just opened. Let me start off by saying it did not disappoint!!! It was super cute seating and spacious. A bit warm but comfortable. The staff was SUPER SUPER nice. The food was great as well. I got a chicken and ham and cheese empeñada. They were both delicious. They had a thicker crust which I’m not too crazy about. The chicken had a great taste of peppers, chicken and a light sauce which had a kick but not too hot. The ham and cheese was good too. It had flavor and tasted exactly as a normal ham and cheese would taste like. The chip brand was super light and crunchy. I got the grilled cheese and tomato soup with bacon and it was sooo goood! The portion of soup was a lot! The tomato soup kinda tasted like Panera breads which was delicious! The grilled cheese was crunchy, buttery and cheesy. It was a wonderful mix! My friend got a burger and didn’t realize it didn’t come with bacon. I think the owner came out and he was super friendly and nice he said don’t worry I’ll get you some bacon. A few minutes later he came out with a WHOLE NEW burger which had avocado smash and the bacon. She then was able to combine her original burger with the added stuff to make basically BECA sandwich minus the egg and croissant. The prices are so reasonable too! I loved the service was quick and clean. Not crowded. They also had some things in the fridge as well as scones and muffins! I loved the little book nook seat but watch your head sitting down! The chairs were a bit low. All in all would 100% go back again.

Stopped in for something for breakfast the other day. Claire and Ally were working behind the counter, and they were wonderful. It was quiet, and there was no line, so they were happy to exchange pleasantries while I waited for my food, even complimenting my choice in breakfast (a delicious ham and cheese croissant).
In a world where so many baristas and servers tend to have little interest in chatting with customers, Claire and Ally’s friendliness and conversation were much welcomed!
