Our ramen and rolls were also very tasty and were also artfully presented.
Unlike some of our recent dining experiences elsewhere, the wait staff here was keen to make sure we enjoyed our food and that it met with our satisfaction. Absolutely! I would not hesitate to return or recommend this eatery to others.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. For a first ramen experience, I could not have chosen a better place. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended
For starters, when we arrived, another couple was there before us waiting to be seated. I watched the servers rush two other tables up to finish their meals in order for that couple to sit down. Not very welcoming.
Next, my friend ordered a hot coffee, which was served to her with EXPIRED MILK! It curdled when she poured it into her coffee. She told the server and asked for a new coffee and milk, and the second coffee was only filled halfway up the cup (you can see the half-filled coffee cup in the attached photo). Her ask for more coffee was met with a bit of an attitude from the staff there and it took several asks before she was given a new, fully-filled coffee.
Two others in our group ordered smoothies, which were more ice-based than cream-based, after being told the smoothies were creamy. They also said that the smoothies had a strangely and artificially sweet flavor.
I ordered a California roll, which was great. However, I’m not sure if they used a dirty plate (or if coating their sushi in wasabi is normal for them) but there was residual wasabi underneath two of my sushi rolls (as well as the normal wasabi and ginger on the side of my plate). I did not mind this much because I am okay with wasabi, but I cannot imagine someone’s reaction if they were sensitive to spice and did not want wasabi touching their sushi.
Another in my group ordered ramen, which she said was not great. For a restaurant with “Ramen” in the name, we think the quality of the meal should be higher.
Finally, while my friend was ordering her meal and asking the server simple questions about the menu, the server again seemed to have an attitude and was impatient when my friend just needed more time to decide her meal.
I probably won’t be back to this restaurant. The food looked visually appealing, but came up short on flavor for almost every dish. Unfortunately this experience was a huge disappointment for our group.
