I am glad to see new ownership in this old location. Turns out my old waiter is now part owner. I ate lunch there yesterday and had the Cobb Salad my coworker had another salad. One of the best I have ever had. The chicken was actually moist and tender and not dry at all. Just enough dressing and nice combination of sweat and tangy. Service was excellent. A great new spot for people looking for a great lunch in the industrial park as there are no real good options in this area. Has a great NYC feel and menu. Great choice.

Dinner for four on Saturday night was great. Service was attentive. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. I had the Angus short ribs that were tender and flavorful. The chef was very accommodating with any special request. The restaurant is under new ownership. Everyone there was eager to please and that, combined with a great chef, made for a perfect evening. My advice-give them a try. I don’t believe you will be disappointed.

Came here for Valentine’s Day. We got a Groupon for $60 worth of food but that didn’t even cover most of the bill. Had to pay additional $45.
The food wasn’t absolutely terrible but it wasn’t worth the price AT ALL. The location is weird too, it’s in a strip of stores and they’re trying to rack up the prices like it’s an NYC restaurant.
Small portions and expensive prices.
They give you one tiny piece of bread per person. Very small piece.
We ordered an appetizer and it was small and not very good. The entrees werent up to par with my expectations. Not much flavor, and after wards felt pretty sick. Would not recommend or go back here again.

Good food. Weird location, its in a strip mall hidden inside the Happauge industrial area.
I like the lunch here during the summer, the prices are good and there is a nice area to sit outside. I get a little annoyed by the inconsistency of the their fries. Sometimes they are the best fries ever, golden crisp and cooked perfectly and other times they are a soggy mess. Very frustrating.
I went here for dinner once and the prices I thought were a little to high for the location. I don’t think I should be paying $28 for an entree from a place in the corner of a cheesy strip mall. The food was good and would have been worth the price at a nicer location.
There is also a big happy hour crowd here so if you go on a weekday night expect a lot of noise from the bar crowd.

Came here for my birthday. The place was very nice, they had live music but it was definitely too loud. I was practically yelling at the people at the same table. The food was very delicious and came out fast. They messed up the bill though. Trying to charge us $28 for a $6 side of potatoes. They fixed it right away but I’m glad we caught that. The menu was kind of pricey for what you’re actually getting.

I give a 2 star because we really wanted to like this place. We have been there numerous times for happy hour because of the convenient location. When we first went we were shocked because the food was pretty good (although priced like fine dining) and a friend was playing music. The prices were bearable because of the convenience. Quickly the food became very erratic (uncooked wings, portion sizes always changing) and then prices seemed not worth. Tonight was last visit. We were at bar but not enough space to eat anything so we grabbed a table. The table was not in another room but only 8 feet from. The bar stools. We had the happy hour menu and the waitress said that we couldn’t order from it. It was just for the bar….. 8 feet away. The prices were $3 higher on apps. I am a long time business owner and have never been cheap but when I questioned the waitress, she just had a blank stare. Finally the head bartender came over and rather than treat us like people who spent money there often, she stood her ground and said that’s the way it is. Even said we don’t need to tip. Customer service definitely not a strong suit. Enough…. We won’t be back.

I have been going to the Grill Room for years, it has always been my most favorite spot. My husband wanted to throw me a surprise dinner for my 40th birthday, and knowing this was my favorite spot, he chose this location. He set it up for people to arrive at 7:30pm and we got there at 8pm. By 10pm, they closed the bar down, and my husband asked if I could just get one more glass of wine, and the owner himself told him that sorry they close at 10pm, and it was late (seriously it was 10pm on the dot.) They were shutting lights and everything. I felt really bad for the waiters who felt awful being put into a position to cut us off so quickly. My guests all walked away feeling let down that we were getting booted out so fast. It probably would have helped if the owner explained they shut down at 10pm (on a Saturday night.) so my husband could have planned for a better location for the size of our group (about 18 guests).
I think there are new owners. 4 years ago I had my son’s baptism party there and everyone raved, but the previous owners were very accommodating, it is a shame they sold the place!
So beware, if you want to have a nice dinner, get there early, otherwise, you will get rushed out.

Went to an event at this establishment on Wednesday, November 21st.
The place was extremely crowded. You could not get a drink at this place. I had to wait a half hour to be served. The second round of drinks I waited over half an hour and left. Whoever the Manager is, that was in charge of this event, should be fired. Hundreds of people were fruitlessly waiting to spend their money only to stand and wait. The Manager is incompetent to put on only 4 bartenders! I left and am writing this review in another bar. I will never return to this pathetic establishment again. It diseveres to go out of business!!

Great place. Have been there many times and always enjoyed the food and service. Their lunch is more like dinner size portions with lunch time pricing. Their happy hours has a wide array of apps for half price. Occasionally, they have live music at night. If you are in the Hauppauge industrial park area, swing in to this place.
