I ordered one of the full sized subs at $20 and didn’t expect much. The guy who rang up my order was chill and didn’t seem off at all. But the guy who made my order wasn’t the same guy and I’m pretty sure he spit in my sandwich. I don’t know why he would do that as I didn’t do anything weird when ordering and I was courteous and polite. I ordered my sandwich and waited to the side as it was made. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Then while eating the sandwich I started to get a cough and you know how getting sick you are spitting up the sickness and what not. Opened the sandwich up and there’s a glob os clear stuff that can’t be explained from veggies or meats. I’ve been dealing with the cold developed from this for about a day or so. No biggie. But how can someone be sketch with someone’s food when that person simply ordering gives them employment. It’s crazy. There was nothing going on that day when I went in. Literally no one was I side but me and the maybe 4 workers. How inconvenient is it to do your job and make a sub bro .

The crew, Matt and James, were working hard when I came in and saw just them two. Matt and I shared conversation and he was very friendly and outgoing. The two of them make a great team, from the outside looking in. Great job guys! Y’all keep the area going and lots of hungry people fed, especially since the FLW location is closed. Pleasure meeting you all.

I don’t know who these young kids are that ‘run’ this store but there is no way that they take their job seriously or care about what they are doing! Every single time I come in and they’re working, there’s something wrong with the sandwiches. Today, I bit into my sandwich and had a funky taste. I lifted the bread and there was old brown slimey lettuce which was very bitter. How hard is it to see that your lettuce is browning and change it out?? I’ve about had it with this store. The only time that this place is ran properly is when the older female manager is working, because she cares. She isn’t just sitting around checking her phone or gossiping like the younger kids. This is ridiculous! Unimpressed and unsatisfied to say the least! Picture attached from today’s visit.

I love Jimmy John’s! This place is wonderful and I always look forward to picking it up. My 6 year old loves the little John’s and looks forward to eating those and I’m thrilled because it is a better and healthier choice than McDonald’s!
The only thing I am ‘unhappy’ about is this particular store always….and I mean always forgets something. When I order online they always forget one of the toppings. By the time I get home, I don’t want to turn around and drive all the way back to have them remake or whatever they would do. So I just eat what I have, just a bit disappointed because my Jimmy Peppers were missing. Oh well. A couple times they have actually forgotten a sandwich on an order of 6 sandwiches. That I did come back for! The sad thing is they don’t even offer you a cookie or bag of chips or anything. The offer would be the polite to do especially since I don’t live right in town.

Workers play too much and can’t even treat their own employees with respect. Picked up my mobile order and noticed them harassing/bullying other coworkers. Especially when they’re younger. Dude looked young and it was probably his first job. Treat others with respect and you might actually get some people to respect you and want to work for you.

The gal that took our order was very angry. She couldn’t answer any questions We had. There wasn’t anyone in the restaurant so she wasn’t over worked from what we could see. I’m not sure why She was so Mad at us!?? Unwrapped our sandwiches the meat & cheese was completely Out of the bread!! I will say the bread was very fresh & good after I reassembled it….. The inside wasn’t that picked up. My husband went up before we left & a thin young man was VERy kind. Ordered a cookie & he offered us to sign up for rewards. The gal Never said a word about it??!! He & the sandwich maker guy thanked us for coming in. Which was Very nice.
……..The way I see it is If people like us do not stop in then They won’t need to stay open.
A smile & thankful goes along way.

When this restaurant first opened, the sandwiches were consistently delicious and well-made. Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly over the past few months. Orders are frequently missing ingredients—most often the mayo—which results in dry sandwiches. Customizations are rarely honored, and it feels like they simply make whatever they choose. After taking a break, I returned hoping for improvement, but the experience was the same: a dry, incorrect order. Regrettably, I won’t be returning or spending money here again.

Went in and got our food rather fast and fresh. Manager was juggling phone calls, online orders, uber eats drives, walk-in customers, drive-thru customers, and people coming in and yelling at him for not answer the phone. The manager handled this situation perfectly and I wish I would have gotten his name as he handled a situation that even the customers sitting down were annoyed by.

After living in St. Robert for about a year, we’ve come to recognize a pattern: because of the town’s proximity to the freeway, many restaurants seem to cater to one-time travelers rather than returning locals. That economic reality shapes the experience—at too many places, food quality is low, customer service is indifferent or outright rude, and there’s little incentive to improve. We’ve had enough bad experiences at Panera Bread, Burger King, and Ocean Buffet here that we’ve stopped going entirely.

But Jimmy John’s is the exception.

This drive-thru sandwich shop has become one of our absolute favorite spots in town—not because it’s fancy, but because it gets the fundamentals right. The sandwiches are consistently delicious, and the bread in particular is addictive: soft, chewy, flavorful, and always fresh. It’s simple food done very well.

What truly sets this Jimmy John’s apart, though, is the consistent courtesy and professionalism of the staff. Every time we’ve needed help—whether asking for a substitution, clarification, or even just a moment of patience—we’ve been met with kindness and respect. That’s a rare thing in this town.

Another standout detail: there’s no push for tipping. No guilt-laden kiosks preloading 20% gratuities. No passive-aggressive tip jars. And when we do offer a tip because the service genuinely deserves it, the staff is visibly surprised and sincerely grateful. It’s clear they’re just doing a good job because that’s how they run their business—not because they expect extra money for basic decency.

If you’re someone spending money in St. Robert and getting let down at other restaurants, I’d suggest moving your dollars over to Jimmy John’s. They’ve earned our loyalty through great food, solid service, and a refreshing lack of the entitlement we’ve seen elsewhere.

Support places that treat people well. Jimmy John’s does.

Every sandwich we purchased was incorrect, 7 to be clear. The bread was hard and we are traveling, so it was really disappointing when we hit the highway and realized they were all incorrect. Tomatoes were on everything, pickles were ordered for 4 out of the 7 and 1 had pickles. Jimmy Johns is our go to for subs at home so we were really disappointed with this visit.
