This place seriously impressed me! The spicy chicken gyro was packed with flavor and easily a 10/10. I also tried the special Italian Italian, Italian, Italian salad, and it was super fresh and really tasty—such a great addition to the meal. The service was friendly, my order was ready fast, and this is definitely one of my favorite spots in Davis now. I’ll for sure be back!

Pretty good but not great. I ordered a lamb and falafel combo. Plenty of food for the price. A small salad, rice, cubed lamb and two falafel. All was fine except the lamb, which was very overcooked. The falafel was excellent, next time I will just get that. Clean restaurant and pleasant staff

A great go-to comfort food. Prices are reasonable and the portions are plenty, service is always friendly and helpful.
I usually get the mix platter or chicken platter and they have been consistent each time, plus they are trying out new side salads; the potato salad is great!

First time customer had an amazing time. I tried the Russian salad sold there and it quickly became a favorite dish. The service was spectacular and the one worker there was incredibly nice, polite, and generous. Needless to say I will be returning to this restaurant because of my amazing experience.

We stopped by here tonight and let me just say the customer service is amazing and we were helped right away so that’s always a plus for us! The restaurant is very clean and has enough space outside and inside for guests. The pricing is really good for the amount they serve you! We ordered a kofta platter and a chicken platter. I chose spicy for my chicken and I was pleased by the spice level as I usually try to stay away from overwhelming spice as some restaurants don’t really say how spicy it is! This was a medium and tolerable heat while still being delicious. The platters come with rice, a salad, and your meat choice. The rice was perfect! It was not dry and had a great consistency. The salad was the star for me here, the veggies are cut up at perfect lengths and they are very fresh. It includes lettuce, purple cabbage, tomatoes, cucumber and a yogurt sauce. We ordered hummus and pita on the side, the hummus is a must try. It is spectacular, we believe it is homemade please try it if you go here it’s a must! The food came with a drink as well. And if you’re a fan of Mountain Dew, they have it here! The menu has a great variety, there’s something here for everyone! They have gluten free options as well as veggie and vegan! Definitely a must if you’re in Davis. This place filled us up quick, we almost stopped eating after the hummus because it’s so filling! we had plenty of leftovers!

Great food, ordered the mixed gyro and chicken fries. Chicken fries were good, but the mixed gyro was delicious. Would try again.

Wow the ingredients were so fresh. I have lived all over the country and eaten gyros and falafel at every opportunity and Royal Kabob had the most perfect crisp lettuce.
I can’t wait to come back.

Can I just say this is the best chicken gyro I’ve ever had !!! I got the spicy chicken gyro 1000/10. Amazing customer service, and my order was ready within a quickness! My new favorite spot I’ll definitely be coming here for a bite whenever I’m back in Davis

It seems the gyro is better than the plates. I came back for a kofta kabob and it cost me nearly $20.
Nothing special, the salad was right the rice was garlicky, and did come with pita bread and a water, but that’s kind of expected for $20 at a takeout place. The hummus was a little thin and I definetely tasted the tahini.
Was a lot faster this time. But something just didn’t convince me it was worth $20.
Past review:
The food was very good for a cheap price and everything came with a drink! Free bottled water or soda can. Meats had good texture with enough rough chopped veggies. Pita didn’t start falling apart. We said yes to spicy but the dishes weren’t spicy.
We can around 1130 on a Sunday. There was just one guy working so food came out pretty slow even though we were the only people there. The man working did apologize for the wait and seemed kind. At around 12, the place started filling up and I know they are busier in the evenings, so he likely wasn’t expecting anyone when we got there.
The ambiance is about what you expect with about a few small tables near the back. Everything seemed clean. Would come back!
