Went on a Saturday at 6pm for restaurant week and it was bumpin! Such a fun and cozy atmosphere with good vibes all around.
We started with the wings and gnocchi, as suggested by our waitress and neither disappointed! The wings were perfectly crispy and juicy with a slight kick and the gnocchi were extremely flavorful and earthy, with butternut squash and mushrooms.
For our entrees, I got the salmon and my husband for the steak burger (a special). The salmon was absolutely delicious and I love that it came on top of sunchoke purée and a side of roasted carrots and kale. HIGHLY recommend. The steak burger was good, but nothing exquisite, just a good burger. To top it all off, we had the bread pudding. Very tasty but a LITTLE dry.
Overall, loved our time and experience at Stratford Garden and will most definitely be back!

New neighborhood restaurant in busy downtown Falls Church. Busy Saturday late brunch crowd. We arrived just as they transitioned to lunch (2pm). Service very friendly if a bit slow. We ordered drinks from extensive draft beer and wine list. Also a few craft cocktails. Bloody Mary comes regular or spicy (I got spicy with small bacon strip, lemon and lime wedge, some sliced pepper and 3 green olives). For lunch we had the sausage sliders (furnished by local butcher who sources meats from local farm) and beef dip ( large sandwich, big enough to split) served with fries or side salad. Flavors for both delicious, thoughtfully created. Tables could be spaced a bit better as the couple next to us had a difficult time coming down the main aisle with their stroller. Nice outdoor patio and adjacent parking lot. We will return!

My experience at Stratford Garden was very good. The food was delicious — everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. I had a ribeye, gnocchi, and guac & chips, and my friend had a salmon dish that was also very tasty. Although the dessert wasn’t my favorite, the rest of the meal was absolutely worth it. I would definitely come back.

We had dinner at Stratford Garden on a busy Saturday night and overall had a nice experience. The ambiance and setting were cozy, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. It’s in a fantastic location in Falls Church, and the bar area looked especially appealing with a solid draft selection that I’d love to come back and try during happy hour.
For dinner, we ordered the Chicken Verde Soup, Lamb Burger, and the Stratford Ribeye. The food was fine, but we were expecting a bit more given the price point of the entrées. That said, the restaurant was completely full, so it’s possible the kitchen was just stretched thin that evening.
They were so busy that parking overflowed into the Harris Teeter lot across the street. Despite the food not quite meeting expectations, we loved the atmosphere and overall vibe and definitely plan to stop by again when it’s less crowded to give it another try.

So excited to finally get to experience Stratford Garden! Every dish we ordered – curried prawns, gnocchi, sausage sliders, mac and cheese was delicious. They have a very large selection of draft, local craft beers as well as wine and a cocktail menu. The restaurant is beautiful inside and very comfortable. The bar has sports playing on the TVs. The service was fast and attentive. Happy to add them into our favorites rotation for a dinner date night or lunch.

Great new space in Falls Church from the team that owns Dominion Wine and Beer. The inside is thoughtfully designed and perfect place for to just grab a beer or for a date night. We took our two kids and the staff was very friendly and accommodating while we were there. We had the truffle fries, burger, chicken sandwich and the chicken verde soup as a side. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back.

I’m very impressed with the service, plus the food is amazing. For as busy as the place was on its first Friday night open, we were seated immediately and served super fast. We highly recommend the fried chicken sandwich and the caesar salad, as well as the hamburger (not pictured). The espresso martini was just okay, but the pomegranate hibiscus mule was good.

The crew did an awesome job transforming this old motor inn! The beer selection is great. Same with the cocktails. I loved the Iberian tin octopus and the accouterments. Service has been great both times I went. The house amber Czech lager is really good!

Definitely worth the visit to give this new place a try- had different sandwiches, salads, and plates to share in groups. Would go back to try a main meal for dinner. Lovely inside, will give a great outdoor space with the weather cooperates and offers much to the city. Food is good, though felt expensive for what it is, and the amount. Lots of food options and drinks, both times impeccable service with a smile.
