Good regular bar. It sometimes is PACKED, but that’s because it’s a popular place for local Sharpsburgers. It’s by a bus stop, so nice to be able to grab a brewski when it’s 15 degrees outside.

My girl and I are in town for a few days. We were looking for a hangout kind of place to get a bite and a drink, watch the game and shoot some pool. This place popped up on Google with decent reviews, so we gave it a shot.
When we walked in, it looked like a dive bar kind of atmosphere (which, to be fair, it was). We were surprised to see people smoking inside, but it was nice not to need to go out in the cold to hit our vapes. The food menu had a good amount of options, but it was all your general pub fare and our expectations were mediocre at best. We could not have been more wrong.
The food was outstanding! I got the Main Street Burger and she got the Steak Sandwich. It was 50 cent wing night, so we got a dozen of those as well. 6 Hot Ranch and 6 of a special pineapple teriyaki. Both flavors of wings were great, but the Hot Ranch were next level. The Burger and Sandwich were both delicious. Even the fries, which looked like normal Pub fries, had a great flavor that was unexpected. I honestly can’t say enough about how unexpectedly great the food was.
Great food aside, the reason for the 5 star review was the service. There was one bartender (Ashley) working on a Steelers game night at a bar in Pittsburgh. Needless to say, It was pretty busy. We sat at a table and were perusing the menu, expecting to need to go to the bar to order once we decided. Ashley stepped away from the bar and served us at the table. She went through the specials, answered our questions and was attentive throughout the entire evening. She checked on us to see how the food was and to replenish our drinks. Watching her at the bar was impressive as well. She was taking care of all guests with the same care she gave to us. After we ate we went upstairs to shoot pool. At last call, Ashley came up to find us to see if there was anything else she could get us and came back up to bring us the check when we tabbed out. Service like this is unfortunately rare.
Great food and exceptional service like this has made Main Street a place i will look forward to visiting again whenever i travel through Pittsburgh. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Idk her name, but midnight on friday, the female barkeep was absolutely the best! I know she was busy AF but totally on top of it! Great job, sorry I didn’t get your name, we were bar hoppin, but she instantly knew I needed another beer without me sayin a word. Give her a raise omg great employee.

What do you want in a dive bar? This has everything I wanted- lots of tvs (one tuned to The Ocho), free darts on Wednesday, a bunch of regulars and young people, a consistent bartender that’s friendly, and the ability to take home singles or cases of beer. It’s gonna scratch an itch of yours some night, you’d best believe.

It is now called Main Street Bar. It is a nice place. Has two pool tables upstairs that you can play on and not be hindered by a crowd. There are also four dart machines. The plus is Thursday is free dart night and someone always wants to play. Even newcomers welcome. The jukebox is always playing a range of music ( including country). So grab your friends and come on down. The bartenders Mikie, Cindy and daylight Connie are all great and occasionally Lyndsey. Lots of laughter and fun to be had. Come on in and enjoy. Like any hole in the wall, one might be apprehensive at first glance. However, the apprehensive are won over with an amazing bar tender, great drinks, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely will be a regular.

They opened back up thier kitchen. Wings were pretty for not being whole wings. Smoking is now permitted upstairs in the pool room
