When I heard that frosty boy was going to be opening a new location and lowell to replace our beloved ball’s softee cream. I was so estatic! Frosty boy ice cream is so amazing. We got a dip cone with Cherry dip, MnM mixer, open door cookie sundae, turtle sundae, and a carnivale sundae. My favorites are their specialty sundaes. The open door cookie sundae has a warm salted caramel cookie with soft serve hot fudge whipped cream and nuts. It’s so delicious The carnival parfait sundae is like nothing I have ever tried. It is layers of soft serve with blue raspberry dip, their signature twinkle cote a peanut brittle sugary wonder, and cotton candy syrup. It is indescribably delicious. You just have to try it, it is so good!
Update:
We tried the broasted chicken special for mothers day, 12 Pieces of chicken and 12 potato wedges for $23. It’s a good deal to feed the whole family. I’ve never had broasted chicken before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I looked up some information about the difference between broasted and fried chicken online. Here’s what it said:
“Broasted chicken is generally considered healthier than fried chicken because it uses less oil and has fewer calories and less fat. Broasting uses a pressure cooker to cook chicken, which helps seal in moisture and keeps the outside crunchy while keeping the inside juicy. Broasted chicken can have up to 70% less fat than deep-fried chicken”
The chicken was crispy on the outside with a very light breading. The chicken was indeed juicy and very tasty, not at all gressy. The best part was the broasted potato wedges. They were huge! Crispy and delicious. It will definitely be my new go to when ever I’m craving fried chicken. Can’t wait to try the broasted pickle spears too.

Delicious ice cream. Plenty of tables to sit outside and an area with one corn hole game to play while you’re there.

This is the only ice cream place I’ve been able to get “no sugar added” ice cream in a waffle cone that doesn’t still spike my glucose readings! (Mint chocolate chip too!) Young staff is quick and friendly and the portion size is good for the price!

I like the online ordering part of it. They have a very good chicken meal, and the ice cream is pretty darn good. If only they could get the orders made correctly I’d give them a better rating. If after this summer begins I may be able to update my rating.

I love the new Frosty Boy in Lowell. Been many times this summer for ice cream treats and also their broaster chicken dinners.
Everything has been delicious. I love that the chicken is piping hot and fresh when we pickup. It’s juicy and not greasy which I love. The staff is always friendly too which I appreciate.
Also a bonus-they have vegan vanilla ice cream those who cannot tolerate dairy.

We are longtime fans of Frosty Boy of Cascade. So we were thrilled to have another local option with Frosty Boy of Lowell. Of course we go frequently for ice cream, but my kids also love the lunch specials in the summer. We also appreciate that they have Dole Whip and other Gluten Free options.

My mom and I’s favorite Ice cream place. We drive 30 mins just to go here. The ice cream is so soft and creamy. A lot of places use less candies in flurries, but they do a great job at packing it full! And the sunflowers are so pretty we love it here.

My only complaint is of the scoops. I noticed that day I was there, I asked for 2 scoops in a waffle cone. The first scoop was “coffee lovers dream,” The second scoop was “peanut butter cup.” When the woman gave me the cone, the second flavor was below the top of the cone and looked much smaller in size than the first flavor. I wasn’t going to complain and started enjoying the ice cream, and then I realized that the “coffee lovers” consistency was considerably softer than the ” peanut butter cup.” The peanut butter cup was very, very hard. My conclusion? Its plain and simple? Young women just don’t have the arm strength to give a good scoop of hard ice cream. They probably get frustrated quickly, and the customer gets what they get? On the other hand, at my age (63), sometimes hard ice cream from Meijers is hard for me to scoop out at home! That’s why they still get 5 stars. I’m going to begin asking for soft serve instead!
